Our 7 year old loved this show! We enjoyed it too as adults. It brought back many memories as a kid. Would I go again, probably not, but if it's your first time to the Dells it's a must see!

I put this right in the middle of it all. There were so many other things we enjoyed in the Dells that this was just...ok. Would we do it again? Most likely not. We are from a museum centric city (Chicago) and just find this to not be up to par with that. It also feels quite dated. Our kids are 7-10 years old and they had fun with all the hands on activities but they have fun everywhere :)

Ok, I want to be as truthful as i can be in all my Reviews so thats exactly what i will be with this.I Guess i expected much more becasue of the name and the building etc..Tommy Bartlett Is a Huge name in Wisconsin Dells. He has a world Famous Water Ski and stage show. It`s a 5 star event for people of all ages. They have Pro Water skiiers that do almost everything you can do on Skii`s, clowns and a Great Show as well. It`s an absolute must see. That said...... after going there and seeing that wonderful show and knowing Tommy has been a part of Wisconsin Dells for Decades and a BIG PART at that i figured we could NOT go wrong seeing that Exploratory. The Gift shop has some cool stuff and the beginning of the "Museum-attraction" was pretty neat but other than that it was alot of hands on (which i normally like) experiments and light shows, games etc. The problem is, in my opinion it did not seem to be up to his name or even close the way it was put together or just the attractions and other things they had in there,. It seemed to me that he works ALOT on the water show and Not too much on the Exploratory which was and IS a shame!!!Ok, Gift shop and some space stuff was cool. The rest of the museum and hands on stuff seemed cheaply made or at least partially broke and in need of cleaning and repair atleast when we went.Without question GO SEE hisa water Show!!!! It`s amazing. The Museum-Exploratory is OK but nothing i would go out of my way to see again. SO.............. Water Show 5 PLUS stars and Musuem?? Middle of the road.

This was fun. Better for families with younger kids. It's a good one time visit, I would not do it again. You only need a couple hours for this. There are some things for older kids too like the bike ride on a high wire.

Recently took my five-year-old and one-year-old to the exploratory along with our three-year-old nephew and all of the kids LOVED it! I was pleasantly surprised that so little had changed since I was last there (probably 19-20 years ago). There are so many attractions that have closed or have changed significantly since the late 80's/early 90's that it's nice to be able to take my kids somewhere nearly frozen in time, but still as much fun.

It was lots of fun for the family, and my kids loved it! Some of the exhibits were a little run down. Some of the things were broken and the some of the instructions didn't make much sense. I recommend going around dinner time so you can get the food from the really good Chinese food next to it!The place was big and interesting, and there was not a lot of people there so we weren't rushed! You could interact with everything, which was nice.

Went Saturday with my kids (8&6). The cost to get in for the family was around $57 for two kids and two adults. It wasn't very crowded so we were able to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed. Several of the hands on exhibits were in bad shape or just didn't work. Much of the technology is very dated but fun to look at. The space capsule is very cool. Staff is friendly. Like mentioned earlier this will take you about an hour and half to get through.

We went with a group of 5 children ages 5-12. All of them seemed to enjoy it. They ran around playing with gadgets and learning in the process. There was something for everyone. As an adult I was even entertained. It hasn't been updated in decades, but there is still a chance for nostalgic fun.

We took our 12 year old daughter and a friend for our daughters birthday, the girls really enjoyed this place. It took about 1.5 hours to go through and they found it very amusing. Lots to do!!

I wasn't expecting much but this place entertained my 2.5 year old for hours. Great hands on place. And room after room of stuff to do!

I am 32. This place has not changed since I went there on a school field trip in middle school! What a disappointment.

The Exploratory was a great find for our family. Other reviews mentioned that the displays and the museum were out of date, but we had a great time. The space station themr captured our imsginations right away. The exhibits were truly hands-on, and geat for our kids.

if you are on a family vacation this is definitely the place for you!My favorite was the hair rising experience! However, if you are couple or adults only group...you will not find it very appropriate for you.

Awesome place to visit off season. Less people means more interaction. We were able to explore, play, think, and learn at our own pace. It was exciting to go back and try something more than once. This is where STEM begins.

The exploratory reminds me of a children's science museum. My kids really enjoyed all the hands on interactive displays. I could see it being a madhouse during peak season and I was glad we were able to take our time without crowds of people all over. I found some of the displays to be a bit dated and cheesy (80's and 90's), but somehow the kids still enjoyed them and this wouldn't be Wisconsin without some cheese. The MIR space station at the end was really cool. Admission is a little high, especially given that it wasn't peak season. However, it's still one of the better attractions at the Dells and we all enjoyed it.
