We've always enjoyed our stops at this winery. It had been awhile, however, and we were so surprised to find they had completely renovated the building. The gift area and wine supplies have been expanded. In addition they now have a beautiful "tasting bar" and also serve craft beers for those who just don't enjoy wine. They are also selling a variety of candies and caramels and chocolates - all unique - and about 8-10 flavors of absolutely wonderful gourmet ice cream. The owners are as friendly as ever, and give as much time and information as you want or need.

Katie offered tastings of very sophisticated wines and we bought several cases. The kids (and parents) enjoyed the homemade ice cream. A must visit attraction.

We had never been to this winery but have been to domestic wineries in Napa, Sonoma, upstate NY, across the midwest, and west. Most recently Lavendar Hill near the Quad Cities, Wicked Prairie Winery Brandon, SDWe were on our way to my nephew's party beginning at 1pm near Keenan and having driven from north of Milwaukee found ourselves an hour early. Not wanting to arrive too early we thought we'd find something to do. We were on HWY. 8 and I saw the small winery sign, fortunately I saw no cars were near me and heavily braked and made the turn off to the gravel road leading to their winery. IT WAS WORTH IT.We found a gem very on par with much larger wineries. The wife/mother/owner was working and welcomed us. We saw the wine tasting area and having the time, decided to do a sampling. It is VERY worth spending the time both in wine and AMBIENCE! Their tasting is NO FEE, just a tip/donation bottle. Many of the large and some small wineries that we visited have tasting fees refundable with a wine purchase.As I noted, we have been blessed with the memories of many wineries and their products. These people have all the ingredients in their store, i.e. wine spotlessly displayed, NEAT AND CLEAN, art, greeting cards, tee shirts, cookies, crackers, fun stuff, jewelry, even many premium bottled beers served that non-wine drinkers may wish to sample on the deck. I am enjoying a "Monrovian Chocolate cookie" from their store now as I write this. People BUILD wineries, PRODUCE wine, SELL wine and SERVE wine. ANYWHERE along this chain a link may fail and people may be disappointed. NOT HERE. They know service, sales and wine.At Brigadoon Winery on this day it was THE COMPLETE PACKAGE! My Congrats to you all.Soon it was late and we HAD to leave now being 45 minutes late, oh well. As we loaded up our purchases AFTER very cordially being taken in back to view a well crafted, FOR SALE, OPENING, WINE BARREL, COFFEE TABLE that the talented male/owner/father/husband made my wife noticed many, many HUMMINGBIRDS FEEDING on the beautiful feeders and plants near the entrance. As I packed, my wife had to exit and take pictures of the sight.Businesses that are consumption based are the bulk of the US economy. WE NEED THEM! Trickle down works. When they flourish or fail others are affected. These people ARE hardworking and should be supported by the community they ADD to your county, town and villages. Tourists want fond memories and these owners produce them.We now have great memories and a bottle of their Ruby Shiraz and Highland Red cellared to enjoy in the future. Our nephew enjoyed his first tasting experience, made some purchases and the owner kindly gave him some education on wine and tastings. He had a great time and will likely return when he visits his brother.May God Bless them, our country, that community, and their business.Thank you.

Brigadoon Winery was the first winery I've ever visited and it was well worth the trip! The tour was very interesting and the family that owns was very welcoming. They are incredibly passionate about what they do and their number one goal was to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. After our initial tour we received free samples of wine and were able to select our favorites. We purchased a few glasses (that turned into a few bottles) and enjoyed ourselves on the porch taking in the beautiful natural scenery. The food sold in the shop is all very delicious as well and they were happy to recommend different items based on which wine we were drinking. Before I left I was sure to purchase a few bottles to enjoy until the next time I visit. We also purchased some fresh eggs and were given apples we picked off the tree ourselves. Whether you are a wine connoisseur, appreciate an occasional glass, or you just enjoy being around great people, you're not going to regret visiting Brigadoon Winery.

Nice visit. I bought a bottle of wine for my daughter which she enjoyed. They have a sales area and you can also watch them process their wine. It is located just out of Tripoli going West.

This was a cool summer day stop for us. The owner provided the wine tasting, which was free but there was a donation jar. You were allowed to sample as many as you want. It is small quarters and was pretty tight with 12 people in there. Wines were better than I expected. They sold fresh eggs, which he plucked from the henhouse. Pretty outdoor setting. Typical wine gifts for sale.

There were four of us who made the trip down the gravel road ( one mile ) to this wonderful family owned winery. Free samples were available so I was able to select my favorite wines before purchasing. We were offered a tour and we took it. This family works hard to perfect their craft. We sat outside on the porch and had glasses of wine for only four dollars. What a bargain, Katie filled our glasses to the top. Soon we were joined by two other couples. We shared a cheese tray and had many laughs. The hummingbirds were going to the feeders and the flower beds. What a nice time. I bought a case of wine to take home and share with friends. I highly recommend a trip to this winery. The gift shop is small but well stocked. All in all, a wonderful, relaxing experience.

It was in the 50s this past weekend and we had out of town guests so instead of enjoying the local lakes we visited Brigadoon. This family run business is a lovely place to visit, the landscaping was beautiful, the hummingbirds were flying right around us near the arbor. It was a busy day so the small shop was crowded but Dave and his family were very kind and patient hosts to everyone who wanted to taste and tour.they have a great variety of wines which are quite good for such a small operation.Dave took the time to show us around outside where the prettiest chickens were running around. they also sell organic eggs. Take a drive and check out Brigadoon! You will not be sorry.

Visited the winery the first week in Sept '12. The lady who served us was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tasting, her company, and we are enjoying the wines we purchased. Our visit was personal and an exciting experience. It was worth the trip.

loved the wines, truly a gem in the wilderness. we have enjoyed the wines for several years.

Brigadoon is set a nice and beauitful area of Wisconsin, and is part of the Great Wisconsin Wine Co-op tour. We stopped here and the views were just beauitful. The wines were good, but if they were not part of the tour, we probably would have by-passed it.

A very nice Winery with tasting samples of their wines year around. Highly recommend stopping for a short visit. We enjoyed talking with owners David and Linda who are very knowledgeable in their craft,helping us to select wines that would complement our meal plannings. They have a nice display area for their wines and glass wear and other wine accessory's

On a recent return trip to Brigadoon Winery in Tripoli, WI...we were again enchanted by Katie! Her warmth and knowledge of the winery coupled with her engaging personality helped make us feel like old friends! We weren't the only ones in the winery that day....numerous others were there on their second and third trips in. Everyone was happy and Katie attended to all. She did have to call for reinforcements from that "little 'ol wine maker" David.....He doesn't look much like a wine maker, but it glows from within him. He can be all business or give a tour of the facility depending on your choice. He is self taught and this year is working with over 21 types of wine....some grown right there in northern WI! Others imported and blended to make some darn great tasting for special occasions or just to have fun. Katie, we found out, also has quite an artistic flair...from her photography to her logo's and wine labels...it is all her thoughts. Check out the "kiss me Kate"!! Linda comes with the package too....her attention to the daily detail shines through. It was our passing thought that she is the brains behind the strength! And we mean that delightfully so. Well worth the trip....unless you only drink wine out of box!!

Have visited dozens of vinyards around the country and too date this is the best trip and visit yet. Great wine, good tastings of everything they make. Friendly and know thier business well. Most of thier wines stand up well against california premium growers and they have won a number of awards for thier wines. Definately reccomend.

SO I like wine...but the stuff I got from this winery was quite possibly the worst wine I've ever had cross my tongue! (I actually had to dump out a bottle because it was so bad I couldn't choke down another sip!)The staff was rude (didn't allow me to sample anything before purchasing, very braggy about how they have chemists in their family, etc...apparently, chemists don't know squat about making wine, because this stuff was awful!) Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED and NOT WORTH THE DRIVE!
