Lots of wooden bridges and hard pack gravel trails. Excellent views and lots of places to stop to enjoy them. After living in Point for 16 years I probably have over 1000 miles on the circle trail. Can't wait to ride it again!

I have rode my bike several times on a section of the Green Circle Trail. It is a beautiful ride in the woods and at part along the river. It is a challenging but yet not too hard section I ride. It has a good mixture of flat and hilly parts which is good for your endurance. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the area. You may even see a deer or two along the way. Then only thing is if you are riding a bike, please watch out for those walking or running on the trail as well. It is not strictly a bike trail. Enjoy your walk, run, or ride!

Most of the trail is suitable for 60+ bike riders. A couple of hills near the airport require my wife to push the bike up.

The Green Circle Trail is a must for any bikernout there. Most literally, "over the river and through the woods" 26 miles around, you wind through woods, trails, parks, alongside roads and neighborhoods too. You can stop for lunch at Hilltop Pub & Grill and continue on your way. A wonderful afternoon of exercise and being outside :-)) highly recommend!

Nice ride or walk around the Stevent Point area. Minimal hills with a nice blend of trail and road. Trail goes through a mix of marsh, prairie, woods and along the Wisconsin and Plover rivers, yet not too far off the beaten path if you want to stop for a cold frosty beverage of some kind, or a bite to eat.

This beautiful trail surrounds Stevens Point and areas of Plover. You can access in several areas, and enjoy the variety of nature that awaits you.

A well thought out trail that circles the Stevens Point and Plover area. Some areas are along roads and could be difficult with smaller kids, but much of it away from traffic. Recommend this highly.

The Green Circle Trail is a community jewel. The trail is maintained very well, and has something for everyone. Walking, hiking, enjoying nature, and biking are all fun on the Green Circle. Plus Stevens Point is a great little city to visit. Note: this trail is not a single track mountain bike trail, but bikers use it a lot.... you just need to be mellow and enjoy the ride.

I love seeing the fall colors here. So many different trees and wildlife, it's cool to experience it. If you're in the area, definitely should visit!

Whether you are biking, walking, running, you have a full 26 miles of trail to utilize. My favorite part about this trail is the different scenery changes. It goes through woods, park, wetlands. You can see beautiful ponds with benches to sit and relax. Parts of the trail have the wooden pathways which I love. I highly recommend taking a few hours and spending some time on this trail!

If you like to hike or bike like us, this is a must when we visit Steven's Point! It is an absolutely beautiful trail, all 26 miles of it, whew! But even if you don't do the whole route, do try and get out on some of it. You will enjoy the boardwalks and other types of trails on it, you will pass the river, bridges, nicely wooded areas, flowers and informative spots of interest and also some very beautiful landscaped homes which are also of interest to me. Steven's Point - you did good!

My wife and I just finished biking the 25.5 mile trail. What a fun afternoon. This is a great trail and you could do parts or the whole trail as we did. Maintained very well.

Checked out some of the Green Circle Trail before enjoying the brewery tour at Point Brewery. Did about ten miles and really liked the combination of trails and neighborhood pavement. I will definitely go back up there to ride more of the Green Circle Trail.

My wife and I love this trail and do some or all of it at least couple times a month. We were biking on it just today and were commenting to each other how lucky we are to have this trail just a block from our house. The varied terrain, the parks it takes you through, the boardwalks, the rivers that run along parts of it, the tall stands of White Pines, the wildlife. An extremely nice trail that can be done in parts or as a loop.

For anyone who likes walking/running or biking the Green Circle trail is for you! It is a four season/ 26 mile path that circles the Stevens Point - Plover area and it hits all of the beautiful spots in each. You do not need to to walk or bike the entire trail. It has sections. It is a true gem for the area!
