Stopped by Pam's when a friend mentioned it was near to Fork In the Road....so we stopped in on our way. Free wine tasting of about 6 wines to the right as you enter the door, we enjoyed the Hanna the most. River Valley merlot also good. Pam greeted us. Several high-top tables after the tasting bar; bar to the right in the back half of the place. Wine flights seemed to be available. Wine and wine decor surrounds on the walls. Pretty nice set-up. I found it a bit clique-y (you know those bars where everyone seems to know everyone else but you don't know anyone?). Actually heard someone remark, 'we have some newbies' as we walked by. Wine displayed in a way that made it hard to see what was available, at least in the front of the store--several wine displays, most were labeled one vineyard, but had wines of several vineyards and styles; most wines were displayed showing the top of the bottle only, requiring each bottle to be pulled in order to see what it was. Many wines that are also available in the grocery stores in the area....perhaps a symptom of the lock distributors have on Wisconsin. Located in a nice strip of smaller quaint stores along a sidewalk.
