My family and I decided to take a day of our vacation and go skiing. Only my husband had been before, so the rest of us took classes. The prices were great, especially on $20 Monday. The teachers were patient and helpful. We were off on our own within 2 hours and did very well. The bar and grill had excellent drinks and food, for ski breaks. The facilities were well kept and safe. There were no lines at all. We were up and down the mountains about every 10 minutes. A great first experience for all of us. My husband said that these are small slopes, not like in Colorado, but still fun and worth the visit.

We haven't been skiing much in the last 20 yrs. But wanted to take the kids. I feel this hill was laid out nicely. I also really appreciated the wonderful staff. On the ski hill they were helpful and caring as we taught our 2 kids to ski. In the ticket area and rental for 1, we were treated very nice. The bar is as cute as could be and the staff, although very busy, was good at their job and quick, still fun. ~~~~~~My only complaint is, they allow people to take over an entire table!!!! Either in the cafeteria area or the bar. We spent a lot of money in the bar on food and drinks. Getting a table without someone else's dishes, granola wrappers, and shoes was difficult, everytime not just once!! I did not see any of them purchase anything but they just walked in git the best seat. I wish the staff would take care of this!!

Trollhaugen is a gem. It's smaller than afton alps and welch village, but it makes up for it with a great staff, unbeatable prices (friday nights are only $15!!) and some playful tree skiing. The bar area gets popping on friday nights, and they usually have a live band there as well.

Good runs, not crowded, nicely groomed. We ski Trollhaugen frequently and have always enjoyed the slopes there.

Like to ski? Open in the winter time, the bar at Trollhaugen has been an Icon in the St. Croix Valley for years. Their menu has changed with the changing times. But always good food. We love to snatch a burger and a beer and sometimes we just eat , and leave the skies at home! Service can be slow when the place is packed! But worth the wait!

Trollhaugen is a great ski area for both skiers and boarders. they have hills for all levels of skier. Trollhaugen is family friendly place.

Great views, nice hills, excellent grooming, great lounge and music, decent and cheap food and drink, all around excellent ski area.
