It's a nice place to get a nice local beer. The atmosphere is amazing. It's a place to stop at well you visit Cedarburg for their wine.

This place is hard to find. It's on the back side of a really impressive old mill. It's next to the river, in the basement. I made it in Winter, so the river was frozen and snow covered except for a meandering ribbon of open water. The dam had frozen water piled up in front of it, very pretty. Next was walking into the basement brewery. You need to walk into an area under the building, to the right is open water where a water wheel might have been for grinding corn. Then you walk thru a 6 foot arched doorway with an oak door. The room was bright and cheery, the bar man was friendly and enthusiastic about the beer. By that point, I didn't really care about the beer, but it was tasy. There was not any fruit beer, but they had a couple of seasonals that were very flavorful. Also, the Kolsch was really good, and I don't normally care for Kolsch. My daughter enjoyed the Blond Root Beer. It was also extremely well done. We even took a case home with us. They DO NOT serve food, but allow people to bring in their own food, this ahead or plan on ordering in! I would rate this amoung the best places I've ever enjoyed a beer, and will definitely stop there again.

The only reason I am in Cedarburg is to make my wife happy with shopping and visiting the winery. I was checking my phone for the nearest ATM and saw it on Google Maps, lucky me! Interior is great and the bartender was very helpful selecting and trying their beers and the others they have on tap. They have an outdoor patio but it was the end of November so it was not open, but we will be there next year to see the nice view of Silver Creek and the bridge. My photo is not that great, I used my phone but it shows the old grindstone mill when you first walk in and gets better from there.

May be hard to find but once you do you will discover a treasure of Cedarburg. Devloped in a historic grain mill, you walk in across a catwalk and discover a small brewery big on taste. Ask for Will or Brewmaster Steve and tell them Jim sent you. They will give you the full tour and treat you well!

What a neat little brewery. Worth the trip just to check out the building. The entryway walks over the water diverted for the former mill that this used to be. I had a hefe-weiss and wife had the blonde root beer. Both were very good. Hardest part about this place is finding it -- not much for signs indicating it is here.

We enjoy visiting microbreweries throughout Illinois & Wisconsin, and hands down, I've never had a better beer flight than Silver Creek's. If you're a craft beer enthusiast- it's a MUST.

Stopped here after leaving a totally boring wine bar down the road. Beautiful river location. It could only have been better if it were nice enough for us to sit outside in the beer garden along the river, but it was raining. The building and history is amazing, modern and clean. The bartenders were so cool. I think we tried every beer they brewed!! Good brewery. Will definately bring some friends back.

this is the must go to place to take any of my visiting friends. The beer is awesome but what really makes it is the seating on the creek and the stream flowing under the walkway. It is a wonderful relaxing spot.

The beer is awesome. Something for all tastes. You can get food delivered from local places to have with your beer, if you must. And it's right on the Cedar Creek - what great view.

This is the most unique place to go have a beer or listen to music. You walk through a small tunneled area with a waterfall gushing through into the brewhouse. Nice selections of craft beers. A good place to hear some very good bands.

Thanks to another reviewer we were able to find this brewery with no problem--under and behind the feed store. Neat interior in the historic old mill! Loved our IPA and Porter beers and we look forward to returning in the summer when we can sit outside by the creek.

Sit outside at one of the creekside tables to enjoy locally brewed ale from this brewpub. Food is good, but go here for the outdoor seating and view of the nearby falls and rushing creek.

And trust me, it's not easy to find. It is, hmmm how to put this, "under" the feed store and kind of behind it! It is on a hill side, over looking the creek, so it is not easy to find. But, let me say, Keep Asking! It's so cool. Beautiful to sit out on that patio right on the creek! Even if your are not a beer drinker, they serve the Cedarburg wine. They have menu's of local pizza places that deliver there, we didn't get to do that, but it's on the list. We never fail to get the best advice from local's there. It's not hard to make friends, especially since I proudly wear my Cubs jacket there, it seems to be a conversation starter, LOL! Can't wait to go back. Take your camera for the falls and beautiful rocks in the creek! Nice.
