We had no idea what to expect of this ski resort tucked into northern Wisconsin. We cannot wait to go back. The grandparents took the kids snow tubing here when they were much younger and loved it. With the kids older, we thought we'd try skiing. It was fun for a beginner skier and for another who has skied in Europe. The cost was reasonable and equipment was nice. The ski instructor and staff were great. You cannot bring food into lounge area, but the food costs are pretty reasonable all things considered.

Christie is my "second" home and I been there for many years. The place is rather small for the area but it is a joy to work and the staff have big hearts of being there to help.

We were visiting friends who live in the area and we took our kids, ages 11 and 15 to Christie Mountain for a nighttime round of tubing. It was the cleanest, friendliest, most fun place we've ever been to for outdoor activities. The staff seemed to enjoy working there and added to our fun! The prices were reasonable and they allow you to bring in your own food. The place was a perfect place to spend time with kids.

Area has a nice family atmosphere that has a wide variety of terrain for being so small (including cliff jumping if you're into that). However, the T-bar and related runs were not open for some reason leaving ONE lift to serve everything that was. No excuse as snow depth (and temps to make snow) were more than sufficient. Terrain parks aren't much so it's easy to get bored quickly.

During fall enjoy the "Leaf it to Rusk" tour and for $1.00 take the ski lift to the top of Christie Mountain to view the fabulous colors. During the winter months take advantage of the many tube and ski runs.

Multi-run ski hill with a variety of difficulties - it's a great spot to spend a winter afternoon.

Christie Mountain has a ski lift (of course) but did you ever think to use it when not in ski season! Christie Mountain has. During the fall season you can get a birds eye view of the fall colors when you take advantage of their fall color tour ski lifts. Give credit when credit is due for this attraction!
