I love purchasing a little slice of my travel locations, and this gallery gave me just what I needed. I bought a couple of prints, and Mike wrapped them in bubble wrap for the trip home.

"In the middle of the Pacific on a remote island in a small town with no traffic lights is an artist-owned gallery that is making waves.”Lured by the splendor of the Hawaiian Islands, Mike Carroll moved from Chicago to Lana`i to pursue his life-long passion for art and nature. His original oil paintings and prints celebrate Hawaii and invite the viewer to explore her enchanting beauty. My wife and visited this gallery while visiting Lanai City. This gallery is a hidden gem in a little-visited town on the little-visited island. We were especially drawn to their beautiful painting of Pu'u Pehe (Sweetheart Rock) in the moonlight. Mike Carroll and the other artists hosted in this gallery are simply amazing. Their use of different mediums to capture the essence of Hawai`i, from landscapes to portraits, creates images that are both lovely to look at and enhance any environment they're placed in. From oil paints to photographs, there is something here that will likely catch your eye. Some people have told us that Mike Carroll is the best artist on Lanai.

Mike has really captured the feel of his island with his paintings. Even if you can't afford an original his art is available on calendars, cards, prints large and small so you'll be able to bring home a little bit of Lana'i.

The artwork at the gallery was superb and getting to chat with Mike was an added bonus. He was so generous with his time and gave us his whole history which made the artwork we purchased even more special

Your second stop on Lanai should be Mike Carroll Gallery. We enjoyed our visits to the gallery and the memories made at “Fifth Friday” in October. Large selection of island art by Mike; he represents other artists as well. Our purchases arrived in perfect condition.

Mike Carroll is clearly a talented artist! The gallery contains his work and the work of local artists. Visit his gallery to see his many lovely paintings which capture the spirit and heart of Lanai. He is delightful to speak with and can tell you so very much about the little island he and his wife call home. I will cherish the lovely plumeria print in the mango wood frame for many years to come and remember the pleasures of this quaint little island! All the best to Mike and the folks of Lanai! We visited here on 11/25 and enjoyed viewing the colorful, island inspired art. We bought a print to remind us of our day trip to Lanai. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Met Mike during the baseball playoffs at the Lodge where he was painting a new piece. He does great work and when we visited the gallery it was nice to see other artists work in his gallery. He will do consignment work for you. Nice to talk with him and his wife while purchasing some of his greeting cards that are inspired by Lanai. Can't wait to get back and see what else he has painted.

Mike is there most of the time, very accessible. He's usually working on a piece of art in the gallery, but always has time to chat. Other artists have work hanging or displayed in teh gallery as well. Very nice place to visit!

We enjoyed an interesting and fun day on Lanai and Mike and his gallery were a big part of that. The art was excellent and the treasures we brought home will not only be enjoyable to look at but will also be reminders of our day and our visit with Mike. He was a wealth of information and lots of fun to talk to. I would highly recommend anyone that visits Lanai makes certain to stop in to meet Mike and get something to take home with them.
