glaciers edge winery

This winery is great! The wines are good, the owners are nice, and it has a beautiful outdoors space. My husband and I held our wedding celebration (reception) at this winery and it was just perfect. The owners let you decide if you want to rent the space (which makes the business only open to your guest) or just invite guests and party while non-guest are there also. You are permitted to bring in outside food. Though the space inside is limited, the space outside is ample enough for 30people (maybe even more). The outside space even has a fireplace and several patio heaters for those cool Kansas evenings. I can't say enough good things about the owners...they are nice, accommodating and easy to work with.

The varieties of wine are all excellent and enjoyable to drink. Mike and Lisa are very knowledgeable about their wines and help to educate you about the grapes while you are sampling the wines. Being able to see the vineyard up the hill that the grapes come from adds to the experience. Strongly recommend making a trip to enjoy this winery.
