I have been going to auto races all over the country for more than 50 years. I was blown away by the excitement and speed on display at Salem Speedway. Salem hosts two ARCA Racing Series events every year as well as sprint cars and local stocks. This is one of my top three favorite tracks in the country. If you like racing, you will not be disappointed in attending an ARCA event or the season ending Halloween 200 in October.

I have been going to the world famous Salem Speedway high banks for years. This is a family friendly track with a nice area for dry camping. The track food is reasonable and good. The racing events cover all venues and also very exciting. The.555- asphalt mile oval that features imposing 33-degree banks was built strictly for speed. .
