Found Turtle Run in 2007 as a part of the Uplands of Indiana Wine Trail. THE BEST winery in the group. Retuned many times in 2008 for Sunday music! In 2009 we chose them as one of two ?Indiana wines to showcase at our sons wedding! Tons of people fell in love with their choices. Jim and Laura and their 3 children grow many of their own grapes on this small farm in southern Harrison County, just outside of Lanesville! Easy to find, reasonable prices, ever changing blends and some very reliable favorites! Typically open noon to six most days. Music mosypt of the Spring, summer, and fall on Sunday afternoons. They encourage you to bring your own food and snacks, buy and drink their wine, listen to their free music! Also, no charge for wine tastings. I challenge anyone to come away stating they could not find a wine that suited their taste! If you do that, you do not like wine, period! I actually have moved to Florida and have friends coming to visit for the New a Year who are making a special trip to pick up wine and boring it to me! They would ship but it is pretty expensive! Miss being able to meet friends there! Find it...go there...tell Jim and Laura HELLO!

Young family own business. You can go there for wine tasting and history of their set up. On certain days they are closed so call ahead and check their schedule. Sometimes they have music and you can sit listen to it while you drink their wine. It is a very clean and nice place to visit. Their wines of many varieties are delicious. You can also buy in stores in different areas.

When heading to Jasper we saw a sign for Turtle Run Winery on the freeway, so we stopped in. The staff was so friendly (as were the two dogs that greeted us). The winery had a nice selection of white and red wines. We selected three sweet white wines. The prices were very reasonable. I anticipate a return visit on our next trip to Indiana.

For a great way to spend a Fall Sunday afternoon, visit the Turtle Run Winery for wine tasting and a free concert. We have attended the last three years and plan to go back again this year. We camp in our RV at Obanon Woods State Park and make a long weekend visit to the Corydon, IN area. Check the winery's concert schedule and visit to taste and buy some of the best wine made in Indiana.

It took a little searching to find this winery but was well worth it. A friendly out going owner who explained the wine making process used and the end product was wines with very unique flavors, all without adding sugar to the wine. A great little winery with a unique product.

This is by far the best winery I've been to. Jim is so personable and taught us a great deal about their winery and wines in general. My husband is a beer drinker and ended up buying two bottles of wine. I love the fact that he also makes no sugar added wines. I was surprised that they offer free wine tastings. This is a very family friendly place as well.

My wife and I have traveled to many wineries across the country and Turtle Run is by far, the best winery we have been too. The staff are so helpful and friendly and Jim, the winemaker is full of knowledge about wine. Great experience every time we go. Highly recommend.

Really enjoy the variety of dry wines that they offer. You can tell that a lot of time goes into ageing and blending. The summer outdoor concerts are a blast. We bring the kids and they love to run around the grounds and play with others.

The country drive to the winery was relaxing and the views were enjoyable despite the trip being in the winter. Since It was my first winery tour, the information presented was all new and interesting. The owners of the winery were enthusiastic.

We enjoy heading to Turtle Run on Sunday afternoon's with cheese, crackers, and other "goodies" to share while enjoying a great bottle of great wine from the extensive selection. We go when there is a good music group there. We have been to hear The Monarchs, and others that I am not recalling at the moment. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable owner/winemaker. Don't know what wines we've had, but always good.

Just a great place with family all involved. Friendly service, country outdoor seating or indoor seating if you want to be in. We loved Max's 31 with the tuna salad sandwiches we brought along for a picnic. What a fine hideaway.

I just enjoyed a bottle of Dry Tortuga non-vintage purchased back in April from Turtle Run and have to compliment the winemaker. It was excellent. The blending and the oak give it a complexity that makes it even more enjoyable than the best California Chardonnays. I just wish I lived closer to this winery.
