Bring your camera and field glasses. Birds that can be seen are Bobwhite Quail, Wild Turkey, Canada Geese, Ducks, Kites and Blue Heron. More during the peek of the migation period. Has a large lake and marshes with wildlife blinds. Hiking trails. Has a restroom building with drinking fountain out front. (Be advised use insect repelant before walking in tall grassy areas, there are chiggers and ticks during warm months). There is also a fishing pond - check with ranger at entrance for regulations. There is also a youth turkey shoot during turkey season. www.fws.gov/peedee or call 704-694-4424
