brookside campground and rafting

We visited in kind of end of peak season and we hadn't rafted in the past. They put us at ease and helped make our experience awesome!

We've used Brookside several times to raft the Nantahala River. We started there years ago because their prices are significantly lower than some of the larger rafting companies in the area, but we have continued to use them because we've had such a great experience each time. Its a family owned business, and they are so friendly and welcoming. They make you feel safe and provide everything you need to handle the rapids with out being stuffy or overdoing it with the rules and instruction.
