Great combo of courses for low and high handicaps. Play all 4 (Lion's Paw, Tiger's Eye, Panther's Run, and Leopard's Chase) as a 4 round package is reasonably priced

The course was in very nice shape and the greens were smooth and ran true. The course tends to play longer than the card suggests. Not a really woman friendly course for the recreational golfer. The water plays a prominent role and makes this more of a target golf course. Again a little challenging for the average recreational golfer. However, the experience from bag drop through departure was enjoyable. The staff both on and off the course was very friendly. Reasonably priced and worth playing, but if you are a high handicapper (I am), bring lots of balls.

This is a hard golf course, with water on 15 or 16 of the holes, a couple of tough water carry par threes, and a few narrow fairways. The new greens are great, but this is a lot more course than many of the golf package folks can handle; they would be much better off on Panther's Run.

This course is a good but not great course. It has some interesting holes, bust too many that you will not remember. A few holes are not layer out good, and makes them tough but not in a good way.Normally in good shape.

The have the new hybrid greens here and they are an exceptional putting surface. The course is hard but not too hard. Watch out for the gators.

Wonderful greens. Tee Times are probably necessary... A bit pricer than other courses but they do have seasonal specials...Nice course.

We play Lion's Paw every year when we hold our annual Kings Point week of golf. It is a good and fair course with some interesting holes. Service in the pro shop is good. Price is reasonable.

My wife and I were paired with 2 men, who played slow enough to be warmed for slow play. We do not live there and haven't played there again.

Lion's Paw is my least favorite of the four courses at Ocean Ridge. But the course has new greens and is in better shape overall than it was several years ago. It has been raining a lot in August and the cart rules were 90 degrees. Course was wet with no roll and played much longer than the card indicates. I played the senior tees and the biggest difference is in the par 3's. There are no easy and definitely no short par 3's from the white tees. From the gold I hit pitching wedge, 9, 4 and 8 irons. The greens don't hold well so it helps to land short of the hole on most shots.

well manicured greens and fairways and the course is laid out nicely.

We booked Lions Paw with the thought that we would be playing a very well kept course. Upon entrance, the facilty appears to be well kept, and the staff was fine. We played in May and figured the course would be in excellent shape as were the other courses we chose for that week. (Cape Fear National, Thistle,,etc..) This was not the case. The greens were like concrete, which is ussually ok, but there seemed to be burnt out spots and some type of fungus on most of them. The fairways were mostly burnt out and filled with crab grass. the rough is patchy. The sand traps were all rock hard, and the cart paths were all cracked an felt like riding on a worn out road that hadnt been maintained in years. If you are truly looking for a well kept course in the area, I would reccomend Cape Fear National or Thislte over this.

Thanks for playing Lion's Paw, the Original Big Cat Course. We hope you enjoyed the new MiniVerde greens. You had to be among the very first to play them last summer! We expect many years of awesome putting surfaces as these new greens continue to mature. Thanks again.
