locklear vineyard and winery

This is a small, reasonably new winery, using mostly Muscadine grapes, but also blueberries, blackberries, and peaches. Homemade wine is a tradition among the Lumbee Indians, and the Locklears, whose ancestors can be traced back to the time of the Revolution in this area, are continuing that tradition. I was pleased to meet Mr. Charlie T.
