Navitat deserves every star it gets! Me and hubby were just taking a break at Asheville early last Fall and decided to do something drastic one evening! We learnt about their newest "Blue Ridge Experience" and I was all upbeat! I had never ziplined before and despite that went straight for the longest zipline! The tour guides were very friendly and their equipments were pretty advanced too! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I'm floored and have decided to bring in friends and our parents the next time we go to Asheville!

My husband, 13 yr. old daughter, and I did the Moody Cove experience. I've ziplined at another place before and loved the experience. My husband and daughter are not fans of heights but both agreed they wanted to try ziplining. Navitat is professional, very well organized, and has great tour guides. Our safety was always a top priority along with our comfort level. After a couple of zips, my husband and daughter completely forgot about the height issue and we all had a blast. Highly recommend it!

This was such a good time! My family and I had never been ziplining before and I am so glad we came to the best in Asheville. Not only is their equipment state of the art, but their tourists are filled with knowledge of the forest as well. They make it a point of talking about native plants and what the Indians before us would have used them for. I felt safe in their hands hundreds of feet above the ground, and that says a lot. Will definitely be back for other tours!!

There could not be a better zip line experience anywhere. The staff is top-notch, professional, fun, friendly, and excellent stewards of the land. The scenery is incredible and the zips are exhilarating. An excellent value. I couldn't recommend this any higher!

I decided to choose Navitat for my first ziplining experience and it was absolutely wonderful! I chose their Ultimate package. I would advise it so that if you do decide to do both adventures - choose to do the Moody Cove Adventure first, followed by the Blue Ridge Experience. The guides for both of the tours were great and you can be sure that safety is the biggest priority. The Moody Cove Adventure is hands on and you have to learn how to brake on your own, while for the Blue Ridge Experience, you don't have to worry about braking or anything. You just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous views. This is why I suggest doing the Moody Cove first if doing both, so you can end the day on a much more relaxing note.I would not hesitate to choose Navitat again for my next ziplining trip!

Not being too familiar with the area, we were very thankful that during breakfast in our B&B and a chat about what to do around there, we got a hint on this very special location. Giving them a call whether they had a slot for the day (it is not advised to go there without a reservation as the place is highly frequented) we received a confirmation that we could go. So we went. And were highly delighted about this special installation which (at a reasonable price !) takes the visitor through the forests of North Carolina. Traveling through the tree tops, accompanied by highly skilled guides, was a very special and touching experience, long to remember and absolutely worth going. The location is a bit off highway, thus a bit hard to find. Good parking.

Neither of us has ever ziplined. We found Navitat on Google and as recommended by the innkeeper where we stayed for the weekend.Jake and Neal were our guides. Those guys love their jobs and it shows. Throughout the Moody Cove Adventure they keep it fun and entertaining, and ALWAYS SAFE. There was not a time, even way up high, that we didn't feel safe. The experience of flying through the mountains is unlike anything we have ever done. Awesome isn't even strong enough of a word! We will do this again. Navitat was a fantastic experience.

A little hesitant at first, this place provided a great co-worker excursion. Teemo (sp) and Max were our fantastic guides on the blue ridge experience. The van ride up the mountain is really something! The views are breathtaking. After your first zip, your fears disappear. You can relax and enjoy the activity. The runs are fast and fun. Be prepared for the first stop. It does jerk you a bit. I plan to come back and do the all day tour. The whole navitat team is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend this activity.

The highlight of my trip to Asheville to visit family was the excitement and thrill of Navitat zip-lining. My first time zip-lining could not have been in a more beautiful setting. The first venue was 10 zip lines that were super fun and exciting. Thanks to our guides, Thomas and Anthony, I was never in danger of missing the platform and making a fool of myself. And they added a great sense of humor and trusting them was easy after seeing how much they followed safely rules to the full extent of the law. The next venue was even more fun and thrilling. This time we did 3 long zip lines that were long, Fast and we could do them tandem. I am addicted to zip lining. I totally recommend this place for that adventure of a lifetime.

We were visiting from RI and booked this in advance. We have ziplined once before at Wildcat Mt. in NH which we enjoyed but wanted to step it up a notch. We didn't feel ready for the slow-yourself-down experience and we wanted long ziplines and this was great. We went on the "Blue Ridge Experience" tour. It had snowed the night before and it was cold when we started around 10:30 am but we were too excited to notice. The view was awesome! The guides were wonderful and informative. The four-wheel drive van ride up the mountain was a lot of fun too!!!

I had been wanting to try ziplining for a while but wanted to do it someplace with a lot of natural beauty. Navitat fit the bill perfectly! My husband and I did the Blue Ridge Adventure and had a fabulous time! The views were spectacular! The staff was knowledgable and so pleasant to be around. We were very fortunate the day we went that the weather was absolutely perfect. And we only had one other couple in our group. I felt the tour was very well run and there was good focus on safety. I would totally visit Navitat again! We had so much fun!! I really liked that you experienced several different zip lines on this adventure with short hikes in between. This by far was one of the neatest things I have done in quite some time. I LOVED IT and would highly recommend the experience. Carpe diem!

If you can get a Groupon get one....and this can get pretty full at certain times of day and the year. Perfect even for the novice or first timer the guides are very thorough and well organized, you learn a little about the area and the land itself as you zip through wooded areas, a huge 1200ft through a very large gorge.....Just outside of Asheville its convenient and a great way to spend a few hours. They offer a night tour which fills up quickly and I hear its a must do having experienced the daytime trek.....

We were in Asheville in October 2014 to see the autumn colors of the Appalachia. We were not disappointed. Asheville has a number of attractions that we really enjoyed includiing the Lazoom Bus Tour (a great hour and a half of adult comedy while on a tour bus of the city), the Biltmore House (one of America's great architectural treasures well worth the cost), the Blue Ridge Parkway ( with short walks up Mount Mitchell and Craqggy Peak - well worth the views), and Chimney Rock (the site of the filming of Daniel Day Lewis's "The Last of the Mohicans".But the most fun was the Navitat zip lines. We did the full one day tour which is made up of two tours, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The morning involves some basic orientation and training before you go off on 10 zip lines, a couple of short suspension foot bridges and some rappels. Then after an hour or so lunch break (we had a food truck with some good Cajun offerings that day), the second part begins. Although the first part was fun and exciting, the second part was much more exciting. There were only 3 zip lines, but these were much higher, longer, and faster than the morning zip lines. Also you got to ride tandem. You and your partner took off side by side. The Navitat Company appears extremely commited to safety, organization, environmental awareness, and client satisfaction. They have a superb staff who are very professional. We were fortunate to have Thomas and Anthony for our group of 8. We found them to be not only competent and skilled at their jobs, but funny and humorous as well. They really made for a fun day in the hills of the Appalachia.

We went to Navitat first in Nov of 2013 and had to go back. We loved the trail through the trees and being able to zip right through them. The colors and view were magnificent. We will be back.
