So much to do. The playgrounds are great, there are plenty of Fields for the kids to play soccer and the trails are easy to navigate and follow. Our entire family always enjoys Lake Conestee!

We walked loops 1 and 2. Not sure how to get to loop 3 or 4. Trails are pretty well marked with planks in some areas of muddiness. It was a nice way to spend the time outside.

My wife and I along with our dog Lady love to hike this park. We always see a lot of wildlife: Canadian geese, Great Blue Heron, ducks, turtles, squirrels, hawks, beavers and many other variety of birds. The hikes have interesting terrain: river, lake, ponds, swamp, wetlands, meadows and forrested uplands. Hikes are generally shaded. After a rain you may want to avoid some of the trails. The overlook at the beaver dam and lodge is a must see. In the spring you can see nesting herons. There is also a great playground for the kids and picnic areas as well. A great place to go and spend some relaxing time. Can't beat the price: free!

I went to the park for the express purpose of finding some geocaches. I spent over an hour on Heron Loop reading the signs about the fauna and flora in the area and the history of the park. The trails are not steep and easy to move on. There is some walking on raised boards to avoid mud and standing water but you don't have to be a tightrope walker to get around. The bird life is fantastic and I can't wait to get back with my camera. There is no admission charge and there is abundant parking. Google Lake Conestee Nature Park for more info.

A wonderful Park with much wildlife and flora and some of the best trails in the area. Lake Conestee is a gem! With the developing links to the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the well designed sports fields this Park will be a prime must visit spot for anyone visiting Greenville SC.

My husband and I love visited places that alot of people don't know about. That is how we ended up here.We enjoyed the flat boardwalk area, and had a fantastic time watching a pair of blue herons as they fed their baby in a nest. We would have stayed all afternoon if it weren't for the pesky mosquitoes. And that we ran out of water.Really guiet place to walk, pretty secluded, so walk with a buddy. And bring lots of water!

The park highlights the remnants of a lake. The Reedy River flows through the park, but the park centers on what used to be Lake Conestee. Silt has filled in most of the old lake bottom creating a number of islands and cut-offs such that it is more like a collection of ponds. I have seen deer, snakes, turtles, and numerous birds in the park. The work of beaver is easy to see, but I have yet to see a beaver in my numerous visits. Some trails are paved most are not, but well maintained and meander through woods and on boardwalks over swamp. The bike paths have few serious climbs, which makes it ideal for my level of trail riding. A couple of planning notes - restroom facilities are only in the parking areas and then can be lacking. Bring your own water there are no fountains. The park has six access points and level of facilities varies from location to location. The park foundation has been adding and improving trails with recent blazes and educational signs.

We love riding the dirt trails and the Swamp rabbit extension with our 6 year old. It's fun watching the park change through the seasons!

Cannot believe it took me this long to hear about this place. If you like walking or even biking on nature trails this place is for you.Great for all ages - relatively flat - there are hills here and there but not terrible.Unbelievable how much wild life you will see.We have walked this 3 times now in the last 3 weekends and we have not even come close to seeing everything - it's huge.Even have picnic areas and play area for small children - near the parking lot.

This park is a nice escape from the city for a few hours. It has paved paths along with boardwalks over the marshlands and some dirt trails. You can walk, run or bike them with ease. Eventually these trails are to connect with the rest of the Swamp Rabbit Trail system in Greenville County.

This area at the south end of the Swamp Rabbit Trail is great for a quick hike with my dog when I don't have time to go further out of town. There aren't ever crowds of people. The trails are easy with no elevation gain.

Its nice to have something like this in the area. There are paths to walk and a lake. They are working on it now so I think it will get better. It was nice when we went, the paths are easy to follow.. Overall, a pretty neat place to go for a nature walk

This place is still pretty secluded, so if all you're looking for is nature with no fluff and no crowds, you might like it too. I run on the dirt trails here about 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes I don't see a single other person, on those days I usually get a few strands of spider web in my hair. It's great! There are wooden platforms to walk on in some places because it can get swampy after a rain, and there are wooden bridges across the river, and there are a couple of wooden observation decks overlooking the lake. There are also a few trails dedicated to walkers, bikes not allowed, that's nice too. They just laid some new asphalt trails recently, if you're more into the pavement thing, and in the spring the honeysuckle is so thick that it's all I can smell in some places. I love running here!

Had a great time-was clean and spring was clearly here with the amount of beautiful flowers and foliage, not to mention the birds. Would like to stay longer next time.

I loved that there were lakes, bridges, rivers, birds, waterfall. Such a nice walk or run any time of the year.
