pearson field and pearson air museum

The original Museum is no longer operational, undergoing jurisdictional issues. Now part of the Fort.

We ran into this place while visiting Vancouver/Portland. Great old airplanes, gift shop and good film you can watch telling the history of the Pearson Air Field. Take an hour and stop by, you won't regret it.

It's free! Touring the Vancouver area we came across this Aviation Museum just off the Interstate. It has several vintage aircraft, uniforms and scale models. Great visit for the kids, old Army Flyers or aviation buffs. You can even walk the mezzanine and get great photos and close ups of the suspended aircraft. Definitely worth the time.
