Great place to spend your spare time. Nice waterfront area. Enjoy the water or just watch others enjoy the water. One of the few places left to launch a boat, grab a bite to eat, and watch the people, the boats, and the birds. Nice, clean, safe facilities. No bums or panhandlers pestering the people. A place to let the kids enjoy themselves. Great family area, for that necessary family time together. I don't go often, but I have gone several times every year since the area was cleaned up and Coulon Park was built. I would go more often if I had more leisure time. I have been there when I had the place to myself, and I have been there when I had to park a mile or so away. Parking has improved now that Lowe's put in a large parking lot.

Love to visit this park for lunch or dinner. There is Ivars and Kidd Valley. Safe environment for walking. There is sailing and kayaking. Nice playground for kids. Only negative is parking.

I come here all the time with my kiddos. The playround is really big and fun. There is also a great walking path where we ride our bikes and great for strollers. Nice beach for summer time. Only downfall to this park is that it can sometimes draw a rough crowd when super packed in the summer.

Parking is tight - that's my one issue. But with food available, paddle boats, piers, swimming and playgrounds - its great for the day. Low budget family reunions or birthday parties - you can reserve the shelters (it is competitive, so best to have a few dates in mind).

There's a swimming area with lifeguard supervision during the summertime, a playground, tennis courts, lawn area, etc. It also has very accessible walking trails with great views of the lake. There is also a boat launch facility, which can get very busy in the summer, as well as boat mooring. The Renton Sailing Club, which provides sailing lessons to kids and adults, is also located in the park and provides a friendly introduction to sailing for those interested. The park is easy to get to from the freeway (I-405) and is close to the Landing shopping center, which has a range of restaurants, etc. The park has a couple of fast food restaurants located within it. The only major downsides to it are that dogs aren't allowed and it is very popular - the park gets very crowded on warm days and parking can be a challenge.

Sometimes there are too many people there. But, they have great concerts during the summer, a wonderful walking trail and good playground for kids. Some food is also available. Places to sit and a dock to tie your boat up to. Have enjoyed this park many times. Probably my favorite park.
