An adventure getting there, but worth it. About 20-25 minute drive outside of Wenatchee. Excellent wine and engaging host. You'll enjoy the trip and the destination.

While visiting family in Wenatchee we decided to drive to Malaga Springs Winery and I'm glad we did. It is a little off the beaten path but the drive is well worth it, just keep the faith. The area has the most impressive rugged beauty and the winery is nestled up against a towering rocky mountain. The tasting room is very comfortable and is the perfect place to sample the many estate wines. We had the good fortune of meeting the winemaker, AL, who sat with us for a good hour while we sampled the great wines. He has a passion for winemaking and it shows in the quality of wine, he even gave me a sample of a wine that has not been released yet. I highly recommend you stop by the winery, you won't be disappointed.

We recently visited Malaga Springs during the Red Wine & Chocolate event. We were here a few years before and decided that we had to visit again!We spent quite a bit of time tasting the wines and chatting with the winemaker, Al. He has also dabbled with brewing and distilling, which my husband is also interested in, so they had a great time discussing the process. After the tasting, we each enjoyed a glass of wine as we chatted.The wines were good, and we ended up coming away with a few bottles.It is quite a drive and hidden in the hills, but it is definitely worth it! There was still snow on the ground when we visited, and Al took a great photo of us outside the winery.Thank you for another great visit!

Worth the drive! This winery is located high in the hills and on a dirt winding road, but it is a hidden gem to visit. The winemarker, Al, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and the time with him tasting flew by. It was very interesting to hear the history and the process of building the tasting room - ask about it when you visit! We came away with 3 wonderful bottles to enjoy... and then we will visit again!
