We rode the motorcycles over from Everett via the Kingston ferry. The lighthouse wasn't much to look at and the drive wasn't the most scenic getting there. For those looking for something like Fort Casey, this place was a let down. It did have a nice beach and plenty of parking though. If I had to rate the day, the best part was the 15 min ferry ride, not the final destination at the lighthouse.

A beautiful park with beach to walk on. However, the beach is strewn with driftwood of all sizes which you need to get over. It isn't difficult for most but might be problematic for folks who are mobility challenged. There is handicap parking next to the lighthouse. The lighthouse store isn't open in winter. It is illegal to remove driftwood. You can bring a dog if it is on a leash and remember to clean up after it.It was windy and many folks thought it was cold. But a sweatshirt with hood seemed good enough.

If you are on the Kitsap Peninsula on a clear day this is totally worth the drive out there. The light house is nothing outstanding but the views from there are incredible. We went out there on New Years Day which was sunny and cool but no breeze to speak of so it was quite nice. We could see the Cascade Mtns. from N of Mt. Baker to Mt. Rainier. The Seattle skyline was visible. We saw dolphins making their way N in the water. There is a nature walk at the park in the wetland area which we did just part of. There is at least one long set of steps to go up- or down depending on the direction you are going of course, and that stopped us because of knee problems that don't do well on inclines. Just before you get to the lighthouse you will pass a home that is made out of part of an old WWII tug and just that was worth seeing.

Great beach for just walking and exploring --- thinking, enjoying the gorgeous views, shelling, etc. Beautiful views of mountains on practically all sides, include Mt Rainier and the sound. Always a lot of boat activity, float planes, cargo ships and if you are lucky, seals and sea lions swimming off shore.

We spent a delightful morning shelling on the beach here. We came at low tide and found a bounty of shells. The light house is really cute too. This may be the highlight of this trip to Washington.

The beach is great. Kids have a blast digging. Water FREEZING. Good driftwood. Smallest lighthouse I have ever seen. Parking lot gets full fast, go early!

Lovely views of Puget Sound and fresh sea air! The lighthouse is pretty average to others in the area but was open and docents were available to answer questions. There was a nice little assortment of artifacts from its history, but the real reason to go is just to stretch your legs and gaze out at the sea. Probably a bit of a drive unless you're already planning to head that direction.

A very serene spot to enjoy the Puget Sound nature with one of the oldest Lighthouse in the background, a lovely beach with great shells and sand dollars for collection, a great wild berry bush trail to keep the kids busy, a great place to bird watch while having an ice-cream... there are benches for quite time if inclined to connect with nature...

Point no Point beach is a perfect place to take a walk on the beach or to stop for a quick picnic. The beach is great for looking for shells, playing in the sand, or spotting seals. My kids had a great time running around the beach and playing in the water. We decided to stay on the beach for the 4th of July and it was spectacular because you could see fireworks going off across the water in Everett and Whidbey Island as well as in Seattle. It was really amazing. They say that you can't start fires, but there were multiple camp fires so they must not enforce the rules much. While my kids were playing, I was fishing from the shore and I caught several dogfish, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this beach if you are looking for an afternoon activity or a place to go for a walk and enjoy the ocean.

Point No Point got its name in 1841 when Charles Wilkes of the U.S. Exploring Expedition found a spit of land that turned out to be much smaller than he expected. The Indians called it Hahd-skus, meaning long nose. It extends east from the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula over a quarter of a mile, ending at the junction of Admiralty Inlet and Puget Sound. The lighthouse was built in 1879 on 40 acres of land purchased by Congress from Francis James and is believed to be the oldest lighthouse on Puget Sound. It was automated in 1977, but the keepers' house was used by Coast Guard personnel until they declared the property as surplus in 1998. It was then granted to Kitsap County on a long-term lease until the Department of the Interior transferred ownership to the county in 2012.The lighthouse keeper's home is available as a vacation rental and features a living room, dining room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Proceeds from the rental directly aid the preservation of the Station.

Spent several nights at the Lighthouse Keeper's cottage, just a hundred yards from the Lighthouse itself. The building is maintained by the US Lighthouse Society and was a wonderful way to ring in the New Year. The home is beautifully restored and has plenty of room for two couples or a family of 4. The unexpected bonus was viewing Orcas from the window! Curious seals checked us out from a few feet offshore and the wide variety of birds made this a birder's winter paradise.

Out of the way at the end of a road, this park/beach/lighthouse is a beautiful place to spend a day. Terrific views, a sandy beach, and of course, the lighthouse. The lighthouse itself is only open a short time, but the rest of the area is worth the trip.

This was a little light house and nice little piece of history. It has parking, but have to walk a ways to the lighthouse, It was fun to see the views.

Point No Point is a classic fisher's favorite spot when the Salmon are running. Running or not, it's worth a trek by car if in the North Hood Canal vicinity for beach combing, spectacular views of Puget Sound and Whidbey Island .
