Other than having someone else do the work for you and you reaping the benefits LOL...couldn't ask for more. Very courteous and hands down one of the best facilities I've used. The only thing I'd say needed work was the outdoor track in certain areas during the winter.

West Community CenterThere is a climbing wall! Ok, it's relatively small, but they are difficult to find in North Dakota. They have a couple of self-belaying tracks to help since they only have one person working limited hours belaying people. Even better (perhaps because it is somewhat limited in selection and number of people who can climb at one time) there is no additional fee for the wall - it falls under the regular gym use day charge.In addition, when you are done, they have plenty of newer workout equipment, and much more that I never had time to see - all for a very reasonable day rate.

The West River Community Center is a fantastic place to stay in shape for every level physical fitness. This place has to be seen to be believed. In door tennis, swimming, weights, 4 basketball courts, the list is endless. Clean and convenient my membership will be paid throughout the winter months!!

West River has everything you need to survive a stay in dickinson, nd. A born and raised Floridian the winters here are hard especially for those of us us to being active outside. West river is the next best thing to outside activities.

Just newly renovated, fantastic gym, pool and lazy river slides. Golf range indoor tennis.Liked all, cost $6 for the day.

This facility is one of the best things to happen to Dickinson in a long time. Everything you could want and need for keeping yourself physically fit and also having some social to go along with it. The expansion is terrific.

This facillited has recently completed a quite large new addition. More basketball courts, longer indoor track, more machines and weights. The climbing wall and indoor pool are the same cool things they've always been. Just today a large outdoor pool and waterpark with great slides opened. AWESOME! Downside is some of the younger staff, mostly lifeguards, tend to be clique-y. Not friendly or helpful with cutomers.

This is a brand spanking new-looking building. Very nice equipment and basketball courts. One thing I must say is that the employees are very well trained. They should be working at a rodeo because of how courteous they are and how nice they act. They are willing to help, no matter how troublesome the situation at hand is. I would recommend this place to my sister, brother, mother, uncle, father, daughter, and my daughter's daughter.

I am new to town and I was looking for a place to work out and spend my free time. A friend took me to this community center to look around and see how I liked it. The set is very impressive considering the size of Dickinson but the staff definitely needs additional training on how to treat customers. They ignore you, they look at you like you are from outer space, and they are not in the least bit helpful! There is no way I will spend my hard earned money to be mistreated. Feel free to try it for yourself my experience may not be yours. I am a black women and they may have been the problem.

Full-service recreation center--all exercise opportunities plus lap pool and water park pool. Reasonably priced.

We had our daughters birthday party here and we're happy with it. We rented a party room, they had tables and chairs setup, there was a little kitchenette also. We received a tshirt for our bday girl and her and her friends also swam

We were visiting for a college football game . We used the pool for lap swim. Very reasonable price for nonmembers. It is always nice to find a place to swim when on a road trip. Nice facility.

The West River Community Center is a beautiful facility in Dickinson. It has great weights area, treadmills, steppers, bikes and walking track for aerobic workouts. There is a beautiful pool and water park as well as a great variety of workout classes.

Very horrible staff 4 or 5 encounter very rude vulgare hey will push you out the door way before close everything else is really nice need to hire some educated older than 15 year old staff would be a great experience

I love bringing my kids here. This rec center has tons of stuff to do and also has a daycare for your children. The staff is always very nice. My favorite is the swimming area which has a lazy river, a slide and a pay area for the small children. Outside the pool is a sauna, steam room and hot tub. They also have a olympic pool for laps. They have different rooms for multiple sports, tons of equipment and even a rock climbing wall.
