Best moment was when the employee says "are you in that race? Is it a mud run?" We laughed! Which was good because it took a bit to be looked at,and served. Although the staff was friendly and knowledgeable we had to ask about an alternative for a red that was out. We had to ask questions that were not readily available, and the girl made so many excuses for the chaos. I'm surprised that the staff wasn't prepared for a half marathon geared for the woman. Women like to eat and drink, and my group of 5 was no exception My guy said "try the Cab, and chimchirri". The cab was good, the chimchirri wasn't offered and when asked for was told I should have had it before the Zin. Horrible up selling. The tasting room decor was awesome, the grounds were rustic but overall just an okay experience. After my guy said he loved it, I had high hopes. Dashed. Thats okay. I'd go back for the cab. Its THAT GOOD.

Love this winery - it's a smaller family run winery with wonderful red wines. Everyone working there is so friendly. They also sell an amazing chimichurri sauce and olive oil. My favorite thing to buy there is their port filled chocolates. What a treat. In addition to the tasting room they have an awesome motorcycle museum - something for everyone!

Beautiful grounds and a great collection of vintage motorcycles. A bit pricey but I believe it's worth it. A must see if you are in Temecula for wine tasting.

This was our first time to Temecula. Everyone we spoke to and the online reviews all suggested Doffo for big and best reds in the area - so off we went. The overall feel of the place is very pretentious. From the tasting fees with no offer to refund if you purchase a bottle of wine, the aloof server who just kept telling us they have the best red wines, but didn't appear that knowledgeable about the wines she was serving when asked questions, to the fairly steep prices for the wines. They certainly think highly of themselves. It was just hard for me to look at the pinkish/light colored Cabernet in my glass - when I'm used to ruby reds. No noticeable tanins. No lingering finish. It was at best a $15 bottle that I would have with spaghetti. The owner/winemaker is from Argentina and brought the Malbec stock from Argentina. So, we were excited to try the Malbec. It was again a light color - not the purple one would expect. Very light. No complexity. Ok - but nothing to write home about. We were there on Wednesday - and it was busy. So, strongly advise you to avoid weekends.

We had lunch there which was good, but not great. My girlfriend did the wine tasting while I enjoy their vintage motorcycle collection. She informed me the tasting was "so so," and there was an ever present expectation to purchase a bottle. As for me, the motorcycle collection was also "so so." Primarily smaller bikes (50 -150cc). I was disappointed, they still didn't have a mid-1960s Honda 50cc that was my very first bike. Well, it actually belonged to my mother. LOL While motorcycling from one place to another, staff was very friendly and it was a nice stop along the way to have lunch. Otherwise, don't go out of your way.

Well, this was a first. My husband and I have been tasting in wineries in Temecula for 10 years, and this is the first time we left after just one taste. Generally, we'll both taste and look forward to the opportunity to try a broad selection, between the two of us. To begin with, the tasting room is very small and uninviting and this winery produces only one white wine, which is what I generally drink. I took one sip (and can't even remember what it was it was so bad), and decided not to sample, but paid for my husband. He tried the first red, (I think it was a Cab), but it was so unremarkable that he didn't even want to sample further, so we left.I feel kind of bad writing this as they are a newer winery but this was not worth my time or taste buds. The only redeeming part is the display of antique motorcycles.

We were not too impressed with the wines or the server. The grounds were very unique with the owners tastes, which made it cute.

Great winery, excellent friendly staff and an interesting setting. The owner is a collector of vintage motorcycles and displays his beautiful collection at the winery. Worth visiting even if it is only to see the motorcycle collection.

we were at a wedding across the street and while the wedding party was having pictures taken we went across to Doffo. We tasted then bought a case. Ask for Samantha she is a Doffo and is allot of fun..

When I first came up to the Temecula wine many years ago, my impression were extremely unfavorable. Wines were "weak sauce' & almond sparkling wine served in a chocolate shot glasses. Then Doffo happen. The Doffo family brought the Argentinian wine making to the valley. The bold reds are able to hold their own against Napa wines. I am able to impress my snobby Hollywood Hill friends (as long as I don't show the Temecula label).Wine tasting experience: The staff is populated with family members who know their wines. The prices are not cheap. They have an outside patio with an old world feel. MUST DO: Mr. Doffo is really into motorcycles. He has a huge collection of vintage motorcycles. Ask about the tour. It is worth it.

Spent a very nice sunny afternoon at Doffo with a two hour sampling of the Reds! There are two flights with different pricing. Tasted the Empanadas and viewed the Ducati motorcycles on display. The reds are definitely worth the trip! Beautiful countryside.

Really nice winery. Made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked into the tasting room. John was great. Excellent wines, we joined the wine club. They do need a few more chairs for the outdoor tables.

Doffo is one of our favorite Temecula wineries. Doffo is not one of the new, 'glitzy' type wineries, but has a cool, casual vibe. The red wines are their best. They had organized a painting class with wine and appetizers. It was truly an enjoyable afternoon. The motorcycle collection is also a fun & unique diversion to look at while sipping their wines!

We've been visiting Temecula area for years now and literally stumbled across Doffo recently. Extremely good if not great wine! Small, boutique, and made with love! We fell for the place and are extremely thankful Doffo is at the end of the wine trail and most of the party drinkers and limos don't make it that far before heading home. Doffo is our one and only stop now for wine in Temecula. The two other vineyards we would visit lost touch with their core wine enthusiasts becoming too large and/or pretentious catering to weddings and other events. Do yourself a favor and bring a lunch to enjoy on their shaded patio like we did today while you sample their truly wonderful wines! Get a full glass if you prefer or a bottle to enjoy while enjoying the humming birds. They also sell empanadas on the weekend if you don't want to bring something. Our friends and my wife and I really appreciate the care and professionalism of the staff and their knowledge and love of wine!

Doffo Winery was stop 4 out of 7 wineries for the day. Very scenic grounds, cool old bike display, nice patio area, fairly small tasting room. The highlight was the homemade empanadas, we tried the beef, chicken and veggie, all were excellent. The wine was good too.Only thing I didn't like was the one shared restroom. It was never free, and when I did get in line behind two drunk guys, some women in their group cut ahead, several times and it was obvious it was going to be a long wait. So we just left and went across the street to the next winery. But if you don't have to use the restroom, this is a great place, great wine and very good empanadas.
