the pear avenue theatre

Cool theatre in the most random of places. They do adventures performances, like the diptych House & Garden, and Metamorphoses which takes place in a pool of water. The quality of the acting is great, and it has all the charms of local Silicon Valley theatre (much like the Bus Barn Stage Co.), selling a few snacks at intermission on a pay-what-you-can sort of basis, and allowing the audience to mingle outside. I love them for finding creative solutions to challenges that might initially seem to be larger than the theatre itself! Super convenient to DTMV as well... I'll have to keep an eye on their coming seasons, since we enjoyed our last show there so much!It is a bit hard to find, even though the street name is in the title of the venue... Just when you think there's nothing else to find, after all the construction you've driven/biked past, it's at the end of an alley on your left.
