This place has also been called the Stanfield Marsh Boardwalk because of the elevated plank bridges that provide excellent access. The boardwalks are fun all by themselves and make an easy and flat walk. There are little viewing platforms all along the way where you can stop to look at the waterfowl or the view without blocking traffic. The boardwalks terminate onto ground that is both high and dry. From there, you can walk down into the marsh area itself for a closer view of the wildlife. Didn't see any bigger animals but there were plenty of large paw prints that belong to both predators and prey animals evident in the mud. This was a nice find and very unexpected. There is a new parking lot right at Stanfield and Big Bear. The landscapers were still working on it while we were there. It provides easy access and I don't think this attraction will remain hidden for long.
