I have been here with my family and had fun, but the food had small portions and there were a lot o out-of-control children running around.

Nice water park that has a nice lazy river. Like this river over Great America's river as it's longer and slower. Has a few water slides that we did not try. Enjoyed the pool, water spray and river only. Easy to park and reasonably priced to get in. We got lucky and grabbed a Living Social deal and it included lunch. We went on a Friday in Aug. to try to avoid being very crowded on a weekend but it ended up being pretty crowded due to the summer camp programs. Ended up getting a little to crowded in a small amount of space. Shading is difficult. We brought our own shade and luckily because it was a low 1/2 tent like(Costco) we were able to pick wherever we wanted to park it. Brought our own travel chairs to avoid not having anywhere to sit. Did not get asked by the workers to remove it as they do say they don't want you staking anything into the ground. But that's a little hard if you don't want anything to fly away and injure another party. Like it and will return again.

This place must not be vey well known as it is never over crowded like some parks. It is very reasonably priced so it a great way to spend the day with family. The slides are fun and not too radical where they scare us adults off. The lazy river is the best way to relax and get some sun. We go every summer.

I went to this watermark with my 11-year old granddaughter and her friend on a weekday in August. it's an easy 30 minute drive from their home in Redwood City. We got there shortly after the 11:00 opening and, at first, the water slide and other elements of the park were not too overcrowded. Waiting for the double tube for the water slide was only a brief wait for the first hour or so. After that, the line waiting for the tubes was so long that I inquired about the single tube rentals which, as it turns out, cost only $2.50 for the day. I immediately got two of those for the girls and they then used their own tubes without waiting in the line for tubes. By lunchtime the park really began to fill up-- mostly with busloads of campers from Catholic Charities, YMCA and others. Each busload brought in loads of kids with minimal supervision and crowds began almost unbearable. Groups of 8-12 year olds were rough-housing at the edge of the pool and pushing each other (unsafely) into the pool while the two lifeguards seemed totally oblivious to the kids jumping in and landing on top of others in the pool. The lines for the waterside became terribly long so that my two girls did not want to wait any longer. The lazy river ride also became quite full with groups of unsupervised, rough-housing kids. I think possibly it would be better to go to this park early in the week when fewer camps are likely to have their field trip days or possibly even on weekends when groups are--hopefully-- more family-oriented and supervised by adults in the families. The supervision and observance of rules is really lax. The area of shaded tables near the food bar has a sign stating that these tables are for use by patrons of the food bar and have a 30-minute limit. This was not at all overseen since I saw some groups "parked" there for the entire day. No one seems to be in charge of making sure rules are followed. Lifeguards are apparently young and maybe too inexperienced to handle the amount of unsupervised kids in each attraction. The two tubes we rented for the day were taken even though we put them on our chairs with towels over them. When we mentioned this we were told this happens all the time. To their credit, they gave us a tube to replace the taken one. While this is really a fun place in many ways, it definitely needs some fine-tuning to make it a place I'd like to go to again. I might try it on a weekend or on a Monday and DEFINITELY come right at opening time since you have a chance for an hour to an hour and a half of reasonably good time. The concept is great and obviously there's a need for such an attraction in this area but please please supervise more to make it even better than it is.

If your young children can swim, I highly recommend Aqua Adventure in Fremont, we went for the first time today, it's just under 30 miles from our home in San Mateo. My boys are 7 and 9 and comfortable in the water, they loved the water slides & slides and lazy river. I loved that parking was easy, the entrance fee was reasonable ($17.99), it wasn't an overwhelming place size-wise, there were plenty lifeguards who were truly watching the kids, good background music, the snack bar was wasn't a rip-off, and the bathrooms were clean. We'd definitely go again.

Love this place, just wish prices were cheaper for adults who just want to go in for a quick dip. I also wish they had lap swimming hours for a cheaper price. Unless you are planning on going here all day, the price is pretty steep.

Pros:- this place is SUPER fun! Especially for kids and families.-parking is not bad and they have large lots that are all close to the park-LOVE the music playing over the intercom, popular and fun-lots of lifeguards and lots of shaded areas to put a towel down-fun high slides with relatively short linesCons:-Bathrooms are disgusting! They need a bathroom attendant in the women's restroom at ALL TIMES! Lots of clogged BM toilets and overflowed toilets with dirty toilet paper all over the floor-DON'T order the pizza! It's super gross and takes forever! Also, beware of the teen workers at the bbq restaurant area. They don't appear very clean, usually sweaty, and they don't wear gloves. One word: Eek.

We always get a season pass for Aqua Adventure. It has a lazy river, a swimming pool and water play structures for little and not-so-little ones. For big kids (6+) there are 2-3 big water slides that they love. If you have kids who are 10 or older, this may not be as much fun as Raging Waters or the like. Best for the 0-10 crowd.

After all the hoopla around the opening of a water park, it does not have too many activities for older kids.. the littler ones have fun with the smaller slides and buckets and water jets and even the lazy river. but there are only 2 water slides for the rest of the crowd. And the location is near the lake where there is always a cool breeze blowing. Very few days when you can really enjoy the park.

We met local friends here for a summer outing. It is on the smaller size but that makes tracking kids a lot easier. My kids are older (10 and 13) and they thought it was fun. The hours are short so get there when it opens and get a good shady spot. Plenty of lifeguards and it looked well maintained. They did not search bags so I brought in my own food and drinks. They let you bring in bottled water regardless. Good for a quick outing without driving too far.

This is a very nice water park for smaller children. It has a nice lazy river, pool area, and slides. Not really for the over 15 crowd. Lots of grass area to lie in and nice shower/changing area. There is a food area if you're hungry and cabanas if you are sensitive to the sun. Great place to take the kids for the day.

This is small and expensive for what you get. And there really isn't any where to swim. The Siliman center in nearby Newark is much cheaper and better, AND it's indoors and heated. Really I don't know what Fremont was thinking...

Went for my sons friends 30th bday party. Boys had a blast and line for slides weren't too long. But they gouge you on the food and don't make enough ahead during the lunch hour. The mom hosting the party ordered some extra Capri suns and was charged $30!

Cannot compare with raging waters or other aqua park, but OK to do time pass for couple of hours during summer.Just 3-4 activities on small scale.

I took my children (13 year old daughter, 11 year old son) here in August, and it was great! We were visiting from Canada, and wanted to do something fun for the day while my husband was in meetings. The park appeared to be in a residential area (I used my GPS to get us there), so didn't appear obvious to me. It is a small water park, but there are benefits to that (easier to keep an eye on your children, for example), so it's not a criticism. The park entrance fee was really reasonable (in the $15 range, if I remember correctly). The food was reasonably priced, the lockers were as well (I think I paid $15, then got $12 back when I returned the key). We paid a few dollars to rent the tubes for the lazy river, although we had fun without them, as well. There is a little gift shop, too. I bought each of my children a t-shirt - they were nice, not the usual tacky stuff. :) I would happily go there again!
