This was up for a few weeks in 1996, during the 100th anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. It was covered up after that, because the city didn't have the budget to maintain it, a pity. For some earthquake related exhibits, try the Math Science Nucleus at 1999 Walnut Ave.

I went to a special exhibit at Lake Elizabeth called Hayward Fault Exposed and it was a very interesting site. Explain how the latest equipment measures earth movement. Sadly, its not there any more.
