tomo-kahni state historic park

the museum is great has a lot of the history and artifacts from the area in Tehachapi, also the museum is in town and must go there before the tour to the park, so they can sign you in than the park has a lot of great things to see, especially the sign on the walls and the caves. watch out for rattlers on the path way, My wife almost bit the dust****so to speak*** Rattles are out there, keep an eye out for them, Your guide will let you know when they are out sunny on a rock or in the bushes.-SO STAY ON THE PATH GREAT FOR HISTORY LESTON FOR KIDS.

Enjoyed the hiking tour and knowledge of the docents. This is a 3 hour hike so must be in good shape. Bring water and snacks.

Arrow heads, petrified wood, and the best scenery. This is worth the trip. What a wonderful way to spend the day.

Make reservations in advance and take water. It's a hike, though not strenuous. Only offered on weekends, and only certain weekends. But so worth it.
