bass lake golf course

If you are an experienced golfer and you are used to "nice" courses you may want to go elsewhere. However, if you are new to the game and looking for on course experience, this course is perfect. The "clubhouse" is a trailer, the range leaves a lot to be desired and the staff can be friendly sometimes. The layout isn't great but there are some nice holes. If you are not at all "picky" about the golf course then you will be fine playing Bass Lake.

This has got to be the worst golf course.......ever. Dirt fairways, lumpy greens and ridiculously bad course design. Add in crappy carts and a really rude owner and you've got the picture. I feel really bad for anybody who comes here unaware of the conditions. Be fore-warned!

Played this course with friends. went in knowing that this course does not water fairways. Had a very enjoyable golfing experience. Had lunch which was good. This is not a country club so do not expect country club feel or look, but it is a very nice golf course with some challenging holes, also some nice views of the mountains.

Not a a bad deal for the price. The greens are always in good shape but the fairways have a bit to be desired. The club house is nice and the staff is friendly.

Hard pan fairways, bad greens, no redeeming qualities what so ever. The place would have to improve dramatically just to be bad.

I played it 9/16/2012 and the playing conditions were terrible. Tee areas needed serious help and the green looked like they hearded cattle over them this morning. Fairways...lots of dead areas, major big weeds, and overall in bad condition. The layout is scenic, until you concentrate on the course conditions which overall were bad! I play 4 to 5 times weekly and this is the worse conditioned course I've played in recent memory. It's a crime because the course routing and overall landscape is nice....it's jusy the course conditioning that is a "crime".....My suggestion...Get a greenskeeper and put some money into the asset you have...stop neglecting it!!!!!!Signed, Very dissapointed!
