I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour and the area. I think we have wonderful winemakers and wines. You are right, our area is very special and an undiscovered treat.

Too bad that tripadvisor limits your rating to "excellent". There should be a "AWESOME" or a "WOW" option. We were on the tour May 2, 2013, had the "first picnic of the year", enjoyed 5 wineries, and purchased 6 bottles. Chris is an extraordinary tour guide, with the perfect blend of knowledge, sincerity, and humor. We truly enjoyed the very personal wine tour, and were glad we waited to the end of our California visit as this was certainly the high point of the vacation!! Best of luck to her on the B & B that will be opening soon!!

Chris Parker runs a wonderful operation. She was prompt to pick us up, friendly, and a wealth of knowledge. Thanks to her connections we were able to see some really nice behind-the-scenes tours. It was a fun and relaxing day and definitely the way to see the wonderful boutique wineries of Calaveras County.

We had such a wonderful, lovely day in Murphys on our wine tasting tour. Chris seemed to know all of the winemakers personally - making the day even more special. What a charming place and a great tour!

Chris contributed to the best bachelorette party I could have asked for. She picked us up at our cottage so we could safely indulge in all the fabulous wineries Calaveras County offered. All the wineries selected were unique and had really nice staff. Chris was very knowledgeable and provided a little history of each place. She put together the cutest picnic lunch which was healthy and had a nice variety. I loved that she took a bunch of photos because we didn't always remember to and she emailed them the next day which is great service. I would definitely book this tour the next time I come to the area to wine taste.

Thanks Pam. Yesterday April 17 was our first picnic of the season. I'm checking the weather and if it's sunny and 70+ the tours will get to have a picnic outside of the winery. Your group was so much fun.
