I've noticed several reviews that talked about 'child care'. Those reviews are not for this theater. They should be listed for Harkins Theater which is located inside the mall. This place is totally separate from the mall. It is across the street and to the southeast, behind Burlington Coat Factory and next to the old Red Robin restaurant which I believe is now called Polly's. This theater is old and thus offers not "newly-released movies" at discounted admission ($2.50 before 6pm and $3.50 after). As a busy mom, this is perfect for me because I miss all the movies when they first come out. So I just wait for a month or two until they come to this theater and then pay about one- third of what I would have paid at the 'nice' theater. That being said, this spot does a good job for what it's designed for. You can see 1-3 month old movies for a few bucks. Don't expect a beautiful theater but your basics are there: 8 movie rooms, a concession stand, several arcade games, and restrooms (some in need of repair) upstairs. I also saw a roped off 'party room' upstairs which was just one small room holding 1 long table with 10 chairs and party hats. I thought "Oh how cute; they're really trying." Anyway, enjoy this discount spot for a 'movie day' (I don't come here at night) to catch up on all the flicks you missed on opening day/month.

The theater is old and carpets are soiled but it has the cheapest tickets in the Riverside-Moreno Valley area. Prices are $2 before 6 pm; $3 after 6 pm. The movies shown here might be considered "second-run" - that is, after the movies have run their course at other theaters (usually 3-8 weeks), the movies come to the Regency Towngate 8. Great place if one is on a budget. Restrooms are upstairs (although there is a restroom for the disabled on the ground level).

You can see a movie for two people-get popcorn and a drink-- all under 15 dollars-----------great prices for movies still out but not first run-- if you missed it at the googleplex-- you can still see in the big screen theater here-- smart-------very smart
