Enjoyed the ocean views. We saw the dolphins jumping in the water. A pelican shared the boardwalk at Fishermen's Wharf with us.

Huge sweeping beach covering all of Monterey Bay. Just a breathtaking view and if you're lucky as I was, whales rightoff shore. Amazing!

This is a gorgeous beach that we had mostly all to ourselves for afternoon walks. It was lovely! The parking lot was crowded, but that did not translate into crowds at the beach.

This beach is right off Reservation Road in Marina. You drive into the parking lot and there is the ocean. Two Hotels are right there close by. One is the Dunes Best western Hotel, I don't remember the other. Also there is a real fancy Steak restaurant right across form the hotels. Anyway back to the beach. This is a nice beach to watch the sun come up in the morning and set in the evening. Nice to watch the surfers and for bird watching. The beach sand is soft feeling on the feet to, a plus with me. Nice open beach to take the kids.

Sandy beaches, great sweeping views are the upside. Restrooms are clean too. Only downside is that parking can be crowded.

This was a beautiful beach to watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. The sand is soft and deep and watching the surfers was fun. There are signs warning you not to enter the water, I'm assuming because of currents.

This is a beautiful beach, however we found more than 50 dead birds littering the beach, and a rip current which forbade entering the water.

Enjoyed the water and the time to just see the rain come in and the gulls down to the sea and back. The surfing was good and took so many pictures.

It was cold but we enjoy playing and running around there. They have parking is near the hotels and a lovely view.

This state beach has great views of Monterey and Pacific Grove in the distance. There appear to be a couple of miles of sandy beach to walk if you feel like it. This place is popular with locals and the parking lot fills up on weekends. Hang gliders like this park and are fun to watch. There is a steep sandy hill you must descend to reach the beach and it is a good climb back up when you leave.

Good views of whales feeding in the distance. Quite of bit of action. Long sandy beach and not very populated.

The beach was almost deserted on this fall sunny morning. We could see the whole Monterey Bay. The beach is broad and a bike trail nearby.

Went to this beach while on my honeymoon, because it was really close to the motel 6 we were staying at. Beautiful beach very clean good place to watch the sun go down.

Stopped here for about ten minutes. It was super crowded and there were cigarettes on the beach. Not a fun experience. Glad our hotel had private beach access.
