I am 63 years old and have chaperoned a party at Pole Position. I saw the high school kids having a blast and thought that it would be fun. My son saw a two for one on Groupon and originally bought two of them for him and his wife. She did not feel like going and I stepped in. I did not realize how fun it was, not that I was actually going fast and furious. I was lapped by, not surprisingly, by all the youth and young adults, but by women and little kids. But none the less, it was a lot of fun. You are so close to the ground that it feels like you are flying. Going around the turns makes you feel like you are going to spin out. What makes it fun is that you are not actually racing against the others on the track, but against your own time. I saw people who bought the groupon three race pack, and then buy extras. I can see how it could be addicting. The only reason I gave it a three is because of the price. It is basically $20 a race for twelve laps. So the basic three races, which it seems most people get, is $60! But it is a great activity for a special occasion or bonding with family members or friends.

Sorry to hear you feel you had a bad experience at our Corona location. Can you please elaborate a little more on what made your experience not a pleasant one, so that we can use this info as a learning experience? We don't sell the VIP race vouchers at our track so I am curious where you spent the $300 for them? Thank you!

I was really surprised the first time I came to Pole Position Raceway, the karts really go fast! I wasn't expecting such nice Karts. I was also thinking it would be a small track because it's indoor but it was way bigger and way cooler than I expected. It's not just for kids, it's totally fun for adults too. The first time I went was for a birthday party and it was so funny because the birthday boy's grandma was racing too and she was pretty fast. At the end of each race you get a speed sheet that gives you your racing stats, she was good. I've gone a few times now and every time I've been there has been a very minimal wait time and I've always been able to race with the people I came with, we never had to split up once. They also have video games and real motocross bikes and jerseys and stuff on display. Such a great place for the family or rainy day.
