This is hidden gem. There is free golf if you are staying in the RV park (a fantastic perk). This is a full length par 72 course. The course is flat, with houses surrounding the fairways. The houses are set well back and the fairways are very wide. Water does come into play a small amount but is no real problem. We played in January and the course was in fairly good shape. There is a putting green and driving range.

Very fair course in good condition. Being from Georgia when you hit you ball off line in the woods you pay a penalty. At Pleasent Run GC there are very few OB markers and when you are off line you still have a shot to the fairway/green.

This course is beautiful and challenging. The food is very good at the Putters Club but the service in the dining room is terrible. Theres a younger male waiter there who has no customer service skills at all. Bar serves great drinks. We go every other year. Good restaurants are scarce in Chowchilla wish there were more places to go.

A good golf course in Chowchilla? I would guess not. But I was wrong. Someone got brave and there is a large development with houses and lakes and a golf course. The market collapse had left a lot of lots barren, but the golf course is nice. There is a lot of water on the course, two par 3's are over water, the 18th has an island green, and plenty of other chances to donate a ball to the water. This area is very dry so they have to water continually, so some spots in the fairways are wet if you get there right after irrigation. Where they don't water, it is either dead grass or just dirt. Greens are very good, course is mostly wide open except for water, and inexpensive to play. I played there 4 times last week and had a great time. Seniors $35 with cart in AM
