Good Lord, what a course? Front nine goes from prairie grass to weeds that will eat your balls. Even the bunkers and traps have weeds. Hell, even the greens have them so expect a bumpy ride getting to the hole. The back nine actually takes on some semblance of a golf course. Very friendly staff and bar personnel. I think most folks are more interested in drinking than actually playing, but what the hell, the round was only $12 and you can actually get out for $5 if you go on their website for some special deals. My fellow duffers seemed to be having fun. About three holes in, I determined that winter rules are in the effect year round. So get out your foot wedge and go out and have fun.Oh one other thing, it can get real windy; almost every day. I played two years ago with 40 mph winds. The ball kept falling off the tee, but i also drove a par 4.

Course is a bit out of the way but I enjoy the mostly flat course after multiple hilly courses in Brentwood area. BIGC has been around a long time and sometimes shows it's age. Decent bar/food service area and normal prices for the area.Plus: Flat wide open course-good staff-good breakfast buffet on weekends.Neg: Out of the way-older-not much of a challenge-cows and trailer parks take away from a well groomed course.
