Minor League baseball at its best here. Love the action on the field, the hot dogs and everything.Great place to take the kids as they have many between innings promotions that keep them entertained. Very inexpensive alternative to driving down to L.A. or O.C. to watch those teams.

When I was a kid we went to Maverick Stadium all the time. My brother broke his arm climbing a fence to get a home run ball. Good times!!P.S. I selected February 2014 for date visited but it was more like 1999.

This is the home of the High Desert Mavericks, the Class A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The baseball facility is off highway 395 in Adelanto, near Victorville. There is nothing in the immediate area in the way of food or drinks, so you are pretty much captive to what is in the stands. The staff were very nice. There is a mexican food concession stand down the 3rd base line, with good sounding items. And there is a hamburger/pizza concession stand down the 1st base line. It happened to be free hot dog with beer night when we were there. So we can say the hot dogs are good, and the beer selection is good, but we can't speak to much else. Get seats on the 3rd base side, if you don't want to bake. And if you sit in the lower rows, they have people who will come and take your order. And the ball really carries here, so you will probably see a lot of scoring. Nothing wrong with that. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
