100th meridian museum

Normally open Memorial day through Labor Day, the Chamber office opened it for us to visit. Great collection of old photos of the town. The docent/volunteer was super interesting with lots of stories about the town's history.

The museum is small but very interesting. It is on the old Lincoln Highway. Mr. Terry, the curator, is enthusiastic and friendly. Cozad has an odd history. Behind the museum is a Pony Express Station, and next door is the Robert Henri Museum. He was an impressionist who spent time in Paris, France. He was a son of the original Mr. Cozad.
