My wife and I came in on a comped trip and met 2 other couples. They arrived almost a day earlier than we did and were fortunate enough to get rooms in the north tower - we were put up in the center tower - the phone didnt work, the room had a bit of a smell and was small - adequate for the time anyone spends in the room. We went down to the front desk and asked if there was any chance we could be moved over to the north tower with our friends - they were very accommodating and got us on the same floor and few rooms apart. Overall the staff was friendly - ever one spoke - even when they passed you in hall or coming into work in the morning from the parking building. The facilities are clean. We enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to our return

WoW! A lot of time, effort and money has gone into this area to make it a nice place to visit. Ample parking. Paved sidewalks. A nice place to visit to pass time and enjoy the outdoors.

This is where we typically stay while in Laughlin. It is very clean. The rooms are nice and I've never had a problem with them where I had to move rooms or complain. The casino is great and the buffet is also yummy.

Harrahs is a beautiful resort. We got an incredible deal on air and hotel with west jet and spent a week here February 24 – March 3. Being from the prairies in Canada We were looking for warm temperatures and to relax. We are still the working poor so for us its too bad everything was sooo expensive and we already have a rotten exchange rate right now so this made for a costly trip for Canadians and the frigid temperatures that moved in on day 3 made things quite unpleasant. We made the best of it cause it was still colder at home and looked at most all the other resorts, The grounds at Harrahs were the best. So many places to relax, we loved the fountain area by the front entrance of Guys restaruarant and have a snack you bought at the Safeway grocery store in Bullhead and walk around. The hotel seemed so busy and full but always a nice place to feel alone. Beautiful trees, flowers and foliage that it kind of reminded us in the back of the hotel especially, of a Mexican resort. The sand is a lot nicer and cleaner at the AVI resort further south but the water and grounds and Harrah’s beach area cant be beat !! we saw others using the beach that were clearly not guests but it is way to far to walk to the desk and report it and there is a sign posted it is for guests only and not once in our whole week there did security ask anyone for a key or to prove they were a guest. Anyone could have used the resort no questions asked. Both pools were open and hot tubs which was nice for the first couple days when temps were high 70’s but not when it abruptly dropped to the low 60’s and then 50’s F with two days at 47 F with a bitter cold frigid wind that was bone chilling to say the least. There was rain, hail and sleet that caused runoff turning the beautiful multiple blue hue of the Colorado river a yukky brown sludge. The hot tub was our refuge anyways and I highly suggest you bring bath robes cause it was COLD getting out. Towels are supplied at the adult pool. You are not supposed to go in till 9 AM and to be done by 9PM but it was never regulated and noise carries up the towers when other guests are disrespectful. Bring ear plugs otherwise sleep quality varied cause in the central tower it seemed quiet but in the north tower it was like people from the adjoining room were in your room and you could hear people doing their business in the bathroom right above your head ….YUK !! anyways …..They have an adult only pool and hot tub. There were scarcely any young people let alone children here as everyone seems as old as us in our mid 50’s some older and some really old !! we loved the no smoking casino to walk through to get to the desk !! We tried the Buffet for Sunday dinner and it was very good. There was a lot of selection from different country cuisine and the desserts were better than other resorts where we looked at other resort buffets. You get a discount if you have a total rewards card which is free by signing up at the hotel. The Guy restaurant was way out of our budget but always busy and lined up. ….the beer in the hotel gift shop was 8.99 and 2.99 for the same sized beer if you were willing to go up to the convenience store just up the hill so a huge mark up at the hotel to buy anything so we didn’t We liked have used to a safety box but what a hassle you have to wait in line for a free desk person and then go to a room and you both use your keys to unlock so that works for passports but not wallets and jewelry you want to wear cause lineups at front desk can be continuous. We found staff quite friendly We had to change rooms twice. Our first room was river view 4th floor with a coffee maker that had been updated except the carpet, in the central tower no smoking and we had requested a fridge for my medication and no pets being in the room previously. We got what we asked for however the room had two small uncomfortable double beds. This is the first time I did not pack my own pillow and foamy and I sorely made a mistake in doing so. I ended up in the middle of the night day 2 at two AM going down to the front desk to request to be moved cause I ached all over from the bed and it was too small for both my hubby and I. We ended up in the north tower with two queens that were more comfortable but I still had sore hips in the mornings and the pillows are not comfortable. Large flat screen tv and more room with no coffee maker. The carpet was poor in this room too but very nice view from the 16th floor.I am glad we had the fridge cause we never imagined how expensive food was going to be in restaurants. OMG and we are from Canada where things are already expensive!! eating out three meals a day in Laughlin would take a fair chunk of your wallet …Dreyers ice cream at Harrahs for two tiny single scoops just enough for a taste, in a plastic cup was over 8.00 ..we ended up driving to the first Safeway you come to in Bullhead city but discovered after the second Safeway which is quite a bit further down has way better selection. Thanks goodness for a rental car from Vegas so we could drive around it was a must cause the walk is way to much to get anywhere if you have poor feet. Harrahs is far away from everything. We liked that as it was quieter feeling. We tried to walk to the Aquarius once and were accosted by a driver who threw water at us and we heard the laughing as the group speed away…we eventually found the river walk but it is not clearly marked. It does not connect the resorts well once you get to the Golden Nugget at all and abruptly ends in places where you need to use your imagination where to go next to pick up the trail and then end up going into the resort, ask around and take elevators and ask some more cause you are lost to try to find the way back out to get back on the riverwalk …there needs to be more signs .we loved the water taxi but it could add up at 4.00 each one way but it was a good alternative for sure…we did see one rental car place in Laughlin and taxis of course …we used valet park a few times at Harrahs but the tips start adding up so we parked easy in the self parking near the north tower and it was a short walk to the elevators that take you to the north tower. Very easy to self park We saw most all the attractions and points of interest in the Laughlin Entertainer that comes out on Wednesday. The boat tour that leaves the riverside for 10.00 each was a really good deal and much enjoyed. I am glad we did that the first day when it was wonderfully warm. Same with Grapevine Canyon and it free was a hit and Katherine landing you need to pay park entrance for there but a great place to go even though it was bone chilling cold. What we did not bank on either is the impact of high elevation in the Laughlin area. I got severe acute altitude sickness by day 4. It was all I could do to manage and was still sick for a few days after we got home. That was scary. Most of the resorts have perks for signing up for their rewards cards like free buffets and free drinks and at the AVI they even give you 10.00 each free to gamble withWifi is a sketchy business in Laughlin most resorts are not providing it and at Harrahs you have to pay 12.00 a day, I tried the business centre but they charged 5.00 to start to use the lap top and then 50 cents for every minute you are on the internet …..both the computers failed twice and then the phone for the help line failed twice too so I gave up. The best wifi can be had at the Aquarius at the Duet Café dozens of people sat close to or bought drinks here just to lounge and use the free wifi it kept us in touch for sure and the Friday night buffet was good there too when we got tired of eating snacks and cold sandwiches, Fridays buffet at a lot of the resorts is prime rib ( it is blue rare though) and crab legs with a limit of two drinks free with the buffet which the limit is not advertised and only at the aqaurius there are champagne brunches on Sunday but we did not try. Harrahs does not offer a Sunday brunch with champagne at allIf you are looking for a place to relax this is the place to go for sure but ask for seeking the sun and warmer temps ….I would not take the chance of coming here in February again and would wait till you are certain you are going to get more pleasant weather like in March or April. Also consider altitude sickness too …Be prepared to bring A LOT of money to Laughlin as you will need it and that does not even include gambling which we didn’t do !!!! its back to mexico for us for the next holiday …..best wishes and I hope you found something helpful

All the staff, from housekeeping to waitresses, cashiers to slot attendants, make it a point to greet you and make you feel truly welcome to be there. Onehousekeeping staff greeted us from the far end of the hall as we exited our room and wished us good morning and good luck for the day. Casino staff were always friendly and accommodating.

This was our first time in a Harrah's, and we REALLY enjoyed the buffet and the non-smoking casino section! We got players cards, and had a good time with a lot of new slot games and craps table. The dealers were friendly and the waitresses were nice- met a lot of people who seemed to be enjoying their day and evening. We will spend more than a day here next year!

I enjoy the gaming in the non-smoking casino. Wish they had craps on that side. Several times smokers had to be asked to stop smoking or leave. The new Guy Fieris was good but not great. I'm a big fan and maybe expectations were unfair.

Great rooms, great views of the river, great people that work there! The Beach cafe is a great place to eat and chill! Very nice shopette.

The room we had in Tower 2 was a little worse for wear. The chairs had many stains and the wall was damaged in a couple of places. In real need of refurbishing. Our room had a mini fridge, but two other rooms in our group did not. Our room was clean, beds very comfortable, shower nice and hot, and the view of the river was great. Since we were there on a free charter and are not high rollers I figured they put us in a less than stellar room. Only a few new machines since we were there last year.Mostly same old, same old. In my opinion the slots are much too tight, but I suppose everyone says that. It is pretty much expected we will lose, it's just that we would like to win a little once in a while so we can have fun doing it. Most of the dealers and pit bosses are very friendly. Cocktail service is good at the tables, but very slow at the slots. Harrah's is kind of isolated from the other casinos and most times you can take a water taxi to the river walk where the other casinos are. You can walk to the other casinos if you are fit. At night the only other option is to take a cab for about $12 including tip. There is no regular entertainment (singers or bands) and only one place to eat late night (which really needs a remodel) but they have a good selection.

The buffet was excellent and the employees are friendly and always helpful. Only thing not good about the casino is that is not close to any of the other casinos. You have to take a water taxi or car taxi to visit other casinos.

We booked 2 rooms in the North Tower: non-smoking double queen and king. Pro: In early December, Laughlin wasn't that crowded and ample parking at the Harrah's.Con: Unfortunately, everything else was bad. Our non-smoking rooms in the North Tower smelled like smoke. Carpet was dirty, especially when we were walking barefoot. McDonalds in the lobby was staffed by rude, slow cashiers. Front Desk was also staffed by grumpy, new employee that could not understand or communicate in simple English.Overall, very disappointing stay at Harrah's Laughlin. I will try the Golden Nugget next time.

We absolutely loved our stay in a pet friendly room.....everything was to our expecutation including a doggie welcome "kit" for the room. We were able to leave our "bichon" in the room unattended with no problems. Thank You Harrahs and we will return! Harold & Fran Stroud

I recently spent a week at Harrahs Laughlin in Dec. while I was on a month vacation to visit my Son, his family and of course the most important person of all, My Grandson, Brody. It was a very enjoyable stay. They have a very nice Hotel with 3 towers. Separate towers for Family and Adults so if you don't want to stay in a tower with children you can stay in the Adult tower, same fee. The casino is fair sized with lots of variety in slots. It has all the table games at affordable levels(i.e. 5$ min.). It also has a poker room and Keno. More importantly it has a friendly atmosphere. The employees all seem to be genuinely concerned with how you are doing, if you need anything etc.The food is good and reasonably priced, the rooms are spacious and easy to access. Additionally, they are located on the Colorado river, so in the daytime you can enjoy water sports, boating, jet ski etc. They have a pool and Jacuzzi available, it is outdoors so the weather can be an issue, but most of the year that is not a problem. They do have shows and nightlife so if you want to dress up and go "out on the town" you can. But, they have a laid back attitude that's makes it easy to just relax and enjoy yourself. I actually was going to be there 3 days and then go to Vegas for 3 days, but after one day in Vegas I went back to Laughlin as I was treated so rudely and poorly in Vegas that I will never return there. In Laughlin I was made to feel as if I was a VIP even though I am not a high roller. They seemed to care about what I wanted and needed, unlike in Vegas where I felt like a piece of meat with a dollar sign attached. After over 50 trips to Las Vegas in my lifetime, I will never return there, but I will make sure to go to Laughlin every time I visit my son. They treat you the way Vegas used to, like you are important, no matter what your social level. They make it easy and enjoyable to do "whatever" it is you want to. I highly recommend going there whether to gamble, play, site see, spend time with the kids and family, they have things for everyone.
