small cozy casino with a cheap restaurant which had buffet and a regular menu that was excellent the restaurant staff was helpful and we were able to move around easily in casino and restaurant.

The casino still has some older machines, but really keeps up with the newer machines. Has a large amount of poker machines. Seems to cater to a large hispanic population and can tend to be quite smokey on a weekend. The slot attendants, players club, and cashiers all are helpful and friendly. The Ale House has wonderful food at great prices.I live here so have watched this casino change and improve over the years.

I go to Rail City at least once or twice a week. They have the game I enjoy playing with a variety of denominations. The staff is friendly and I have never had a problem while visiting there.

The motel was awesome on the went wing. Nice place to gamble and close to everything. Would highly reccommend

I found the casino to offer many new machines; however lot of older ones also. I found the smoke to be mild but this was a 10 am. visit. The slot attendants, players club personnel & cashiers to be friendly. I did not eat there; though a couple of the Ale house specials looked inviting.

Really good for in the Ale House. Good value. Friendly service. Good menu choices ranging from burgers to some BarBQ sections.

The casino had a really strong cigarette smell. It's just an average small casino. Never saw anyone offering drinks and we were there for a couple of hours.

The restaurant has pretty good food the price a little high for this casino.. Many homeless and bums in this area so beware if you are going or coming late at night if you are alone. Not a safe area at all,, You will be ok if you park under the lights and have security walk you out after dark. Beware of your surroundings,, The smokey air inside is pretty unhealthy. I feel sorry for the employees who work here because of that. But some of them have been working here a long time so it must be a good company to work for.

The Ale House is great. Tuesday nights is the steak special, either a T-bone or New York for $7.95. Many of the casinos offer steak or prime rib specials and you get a piece of meat about a quarter inch thick. This is not the case at the Ale House, the steaks are good sized and not full of fat. They also have a list of half priced wines that day and the ones I've tried so far are very good. The service is also very good. There are different specials each night, but so far it's been only steak night, though we are going to try others. Since it's a smaller casino, you don't have a lot of noise.

Not only do i win money here i feel like a winner here.This is where you can feel comfortable.I like it here the staff is fantastic and so are the guest.

I love their food and friendliness. Other than then smell of smoke it is a good casino to visit, dine, gamble and it's close to events (when Victorian ave has them). If you don't want that big casino feeling and more cozy welcoming feeling, go to Rail City Casino. Also, their drink are pretty good!

Went to the Rail Casino to get some dinner late night when we got into Reno and stayed at J.A. Nugget in Sparks. We went to the Café and had the Prime Rib special (beyond awesome!) and Fish and Chips (good) and senior special ($3.33 for small sized spaghetti, perfect sized). It was so good we went back the night we left and had a less spectacular meal that took too long (25 minutes) and was just average (so, kinda hit and miss I would say). But I would recommend it to a friend to try. The next night we went to the Ale House in this same casino and had the bbq specialties. Not great. The tri tip plate was cold and the meat was tough, the combo plate w/chicken, ribs and tri tip had a piece of chicken that could've been from the ice age (dry, tough, cold; the trifecta of bad). But we had good meals in the very distant past, so I would give them a try again. My husband loved the beer sampler for $2.50 (3 glasses). We gambled there and lost $$ and it is very smoky there as well. Anywhere that draws locals is usually smoky, so bear that in mind. Parking is great, just make sure you miss the icy patches.

I only rated the Ale House as Very Good because of the smokey conditions when you enter the Casino. Once you are in the Ale House, it is much better. The pizza there is terrific. The sauce is great as are the toppings. The pizza come in two sizes which are small and large. They are both individual size pizzas and not the large ones you get at the regular pizza stores. You can easily eat the small one and it might take two to finish the large one. Along with the wonderful Honey Blond beer, Oh Man what a great meal!!!! If you are in the mood for pizza and a delicious beer, you gotta give it a try.
