I would not go out of your way. But an interesting route from Portland to Seattle if you are driving is via the bridge west of here and you could then see this bridge. Not worth a special trip.

One of the many beautiful bridges in the Portland area, this bridge spans the Willamette River in North Portland. Lush parks surround it, and that makes for a nice time to just look at this work of engineering beauty.

This bridge is gorgeous. It is by the same designer as the golden gate and it is more beautiful in my opinion. Defiantly worth a drive in either direction.

This is my favorite bridge in Portland. I can just see Wildwood, I mean Forest Park with it's lovely trees on the other side from St. John's. A beautiful sight to behold.

Love this stunning architecture structure for a bridge. Traveled across it on my way to watch a University of Portland basketball game.

Portland is Bridge City, and after seeing the strong and sturdy industrial bridges downtown, when we saw a picture of the pretty St. John's Bridge, we just wanted to go see it in person. It reminded me of a cathedral, but with steel instead of stone. Without a heavy architectural design to weigh it down, it's elegant and delicate without being overly ornate. It's also not that far out a drive to have a look.

Gorgeous old bridge just on the edge of the city. Always worth a drive across if you happen to be in the area. The park is not much to see but its good to let your dogs stretch their legs. There are many feral cats in this area however so be sure to keep you pups on the leashe.

A truly beautiful site, spanning the Willamette River. Not many bridges can compare with the look of this bridge. It has been featured on television shows like GRIMM, and the LIBRARIANS.

This is a lovely bridge at the north end of the Willamette River before it merges with the Columbia. The best way to enjoy it is to park on the St. Johns side of the river. There is a nice park under the bridge with free parking. You can then walk across the bridge and get great views of Portland and the river activity.

This bridge is old but it has a lot of character compared to modern concrete bridges. The view of Mt Hood, Mt Adams and Mt St Helens from the bridge was excellent. Take a drive over the bridge, find a place to park and walk back across

The vista and architecture of this green hued steel structure is the gem of the North Portland peninsula. Travel is a tight two lanes in either direction to be shared with large trucks & bicyclists. It is rated the most beautiful bridge in Portland

Not much I can say. Just go down Rte 30 and enjoy the view. Then drive over it on your way to a UP futbol game. When the opposing goal keeper is about to put the ball in play, yell "Puto!"

This early 1930's bridge is quite the beauty in the architectural sense. Great views looking towards Portland when you cross it and easy route into St Johns from Portland.

Portland is home to some beautiful views. The cities bridges are one of their beautiful masterpieces. It is a beautiful structure providing beautiful views of the areas. Photographers heaven for sure!

Very sturdy cool old bridge. Beautiful structure and has great views of the city, is a park underneath with flowers, I recommend parking below the bridge and checking out Cathedral Park nearby.
