Sweeping landscape views of vineyards, hills, and on a clear day you can see the cascade range. An established winery, with an excellent restaurant. Great service, and a great destination for a day trip.

It's a beautiful ride out into the country to King Estates. Once there, you can enjoy a nice view of the valley area. Food is delicious and it is easy to spend hours taking in the ambience inside and out.

1,000 acre estate. Beautifully planned and appointed. Friendly staff. Wines were a tad pricey, but there is a very nice variety to choose from. Dining room appeared formal, but formal dress is not required. This was a positive, fun experience.

I love the drive out to King Estates from Eugene. When I want to impress visitors I always take them out to King Estates for wine tasting and lunch or dinner. They also serve delicious food in a very cozy environment. Dining on the patio is always a pleasure with the beautiful rolling hills all around. The winery tour is very informative and shouldn't be missed if you have the opportunity.

Best place to celebrate an anniversary, or birthday. The food is outstanding (don't miss the tomato jam) and wine is award winning. In summer, the deck in the evening is a magical place with a beautiful view. Worth the drive from Eugene.

King Estate winery's lovely restaurant takes you straight to Europe with its panoramic visitas from a tranquil hilltop, first class setting, delightful decor, fine food that's not pretentious and lovely service. This is the place to take visitors for a taste of what's best about this region. Much of the produce is grown on the property in extensive gardens. We've also been to special events there, always done beautifully. Leave time to take a tour of the operation and a walk around the large sloped property planted with a variety of grapes.

Excellent venue, food wine and atmosphere in one package. Pricey so save for special occasions. Nice venue for charitable events

My favorite place for a leisurely summer brunch is the King Estate patio. Order anything it will be good, the service is excellent, and the view is breathtaking.

Either for lunch or dinner the restaurant at King Estate Winery is by far the best food in town. It is a bit of a trek from downtown but a beautiful drive. Whether a burger with foie or a beautiful piece of fish for dinner, you will not be disappointed.

When in Eugene/springfield, it is an experience not to miss. The beautiful drive through wonderful hills is lovely. But, when you get to King Estates the Chateaux feel can be breath taking on a beautiful day. The views are wonderful, & wines fabulous and really a unique experience! You can also take your own picnic lunch, and dine on the patio while tasting a flight of wine, which we did this last time. In addtion, during harvest season and spring you can also take free "tours" of the winery (extremely interesting) but you may wish to call ahead for the schedule. Many other winerys are in the area also, and often folks use a Sunday afternoon to visit King Estates as well as others meandering back to Eugene.

My favorite local Willamette Valley winery...wines are consistently great...food is always wonderful...never had problems with serving/seating other reviewers had...I belong to their wine club so get free tastings, which is a plus. Prefer going during the day in winter when you can enjoy the view...summer dinners are nice as you can enjoy the view until late in the day. When my sister and husband come out west from Connecticut, this is always the first place they want to visit.

Yes, this is a beautiful building, beautiful grounds and they've been producing great wine for a long time. BUT . . . their tasting room was not friendly, didn't make us feel welcome, nowhere to relax and more employess walking around and talking to eachother than to the guests. We ran into several other people who felt exactly the same - so perhaps the management can read this and change things up a bit to make it a more welcoming environment. We would have liked to stay longer and get a glass of wine and a snack - but all the tables were set up for dinner. If the weather had been nice we could have sat outside, but now that the bad weather has hit, we didn't feel there was anywhere to enjoy their tasting room. It was weird.
