We saw Miracle on 43rd Street at the Venetian recently and enjoyed the beauty of this old theater. It has the street front of a theater in first half of the 20th century, and inside it is very well kept. It seats just the right amount so that no matter where you sit, you have a good view. And with the attached bistro, you can have dinner and a show without traveling. Perfect date place!

What a fabulous place to go see an old movie! We went and saw The Godfather and Gone With the Wind over the summer. Wonderful to see each of these on the big screen. Alcohol allowed in theater during movie, dinner beforehand in restaurant is good. Love The Venetian for a movie date night with my husband! Always easy parking too!

Its a beautiful theatre and the plays/events they put on are always very good.Its easy to get to,and easy to find parking. We even watched a Super Bowl there once.It was like we were in a giant Sky box!

Love it when they have older movies and you can take your entrees in the theatre, with stadium seating and comfy chairs, even trays. But it's also great to eat at the bistro, with a good a variety of dishes to please. They also accommodate GF, with GF pastas available and a good GF pizza. Don't forget to try their burgers though.

The quality of shows here is fantastic! Their in-house production company, Bag and Baggage, puts on insightful renditions of familiar classics and does some fun shows that turn a familiar play into something hilarious for the whole family. The food here is also really good! The menu is Italian focused and well done. The portions are big and the service is terrific. They're very mindful if show times, when you have tickets, and make sure you're well fed before curtain. My family and I are proud to be season ticket holders and love to come here often. It's a real gem in Hillsboro.

I really want to love the Venetian because it's a great looking restaurant with good atmosphere, but I am continually disappointed with their food and drinks. The food is very bland overall, however their rolls were good. I've been here for drinks and dessert on many occasions and it always falls short on taste. What a shame to waste such a great location and setting on mediocre food/drinks. Their "house made" desserts tasted like low quality grocery store fare. The chocolate mousse especially was just awful. Please get a better chef and give downtown Hillsboro a quality restaurant!

A wonderful restored theater that has become the center of an interesting old town center. The food is great and the performances by Bag and Baggage theater group are among the best in the region.

The Venetian is a great place to meet up with friends for drinks and/or lunch or dinner. A "happening" place given the lovely theatre which offers a variety of attractions. Enjoy some wine & food while watching a play or movie.Friendly and experienced wait staff. We've been there many times.

Very nice restaurant in remodeled old theater. The food was excellent. Has upstairs, ground floor and outdoor seating. An enjoyable experience.

We love this place - they have great food, really nice people, a great atmosphere, and we have so much fun going to plays or seeing old movies during the summer. It's also a great place to eat around the summer farmer's markets. Highly recommend it!

Nothing Special about this place. Average food that is over priced.Just another " Me Too " in the dead area of old down town Hillsboro.For better Food go to the Sports Look it is just a couple of blocks away.Much better food with better Prices

We stumbled upon this place when we saw a Bag And Baggage Theatre production (in the same building). We got to the show early and decided to eat, since the restaurant is ostensibly the theatre lobby. What a delightful surprise. Good, varied, and interesting selections at a good price. Friendly staff. Terrific ambience. And the show was good too! Both "B&B" and The Venetian are downtown finds for anyone looking for something to do in Hillsboro. Impressive.

This restaurant theater is one of the oldest buildings in Hillsboro. They get a lively crowd and the prices are moderate. The food is good too.

This is a refurbished movie theater with movies, live plays and great inexpensive food in the middle of downtown Hillsboro. It's a must see/visit.
