We arrived at Winter's Hill by horse drawn carriage (Equestrian Wine Tours) on a recent damp drizzly day. The tasting area is being permanently setup in the main building which was full of bins of grapes - it was awesome to be right in the middle of the action!We had a great wine tasting and when they found out my favorite was the sold-out iced wine, gave us a sneak peak sample out of the barrel of the next iced wine! So gracious and fun, educating us about their wines without being snobby, and let us sample some spicy hazelnuts as well as date (?) bread from the nearby Trappist Abbey.Also got to sample some locally made loose leaf tea, perfect day for that! Its always a treat to visit Winter's Hill!!

We love this family run winery! All of their wine is great, my personal favorites are the dessert wines. They have a cute tasting room but are often set-up in the warehouse so you're in the middle of the action. Join the club for specials. The view is amazing, can see the whole valley.
