We highly recommend. Chris was very friendly and shared stories and facts about the area that made the ride even more memorable. It has been several years since we had ridden horses, they were very easy to ride.

We love coming to Eagle crest! Our youngest is a huge horse lover so many hours were spent at the stables during our visit. Casey took her on her trail ride and was fantastic! She was fun, helpful and informative. Chris was great as well and assured us we could come pet and feed apples and carrots to the horses anytime:). Thanks for making our stay in Eagle Crest even better!

We had a nice ride with Emma today. She took both the kids around the stables and let them feed the horse some oats.

We had a great experience riding on Sunday, August 24th. We did the 9 a.m. ride & both the girls working as our guides did a wonderful job. They were patient, positive & very helpful. My children were riding for their very first time & the girls made them very comfortable. The horses very healthy & well trained. The guides did a fabulous job of fitting my kids with an appropriate horse for their "no experience". I would recommend this if you have a desire to ride in Central Oregon. Trail was nice & scenery beautiful.

We had a wonderful easy trail ride with Justine. Our group of 4...with horses of various personalities was fun and memorable. Even tho a simple trail nose-to-tail ride the view was amazing - especially as a storm started to roll in...back just as the first drops started to fall... Horses seem very well cared for - and having them by the lodge in the pasture encouraged us to sign up for a ride.

My busy 4-year old can be very cautious and shy, but is never afraid when we visit the horses at Eagle Crest. The staff is so great and calming, and Dylan who led the pony ride was just awesome. We will continue to visit every year we are here!

Had a great time at Ikiutan Stables at the Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond Oregon. The staff was a young group but were super experienced and polite. Had the horses ready when we arrived and 3 of my daughters and wife were off and riding the trails within a few short minutes of training and rules. My daughters are 8, 11 and 14 and had an awesome time. My 11 year old return with the horse in a full trot and was grinning from ear to ear. After they returned, my 5 year old went on a pony ride for 15 minutes. One of the staff escorted her around the ranch and gave her a few extra minutes free if she would smile. She smiled immediately. The staff that assisted us were Deborah, Justin, Ashton and Garon. 3 young ladies and one teenage boy. All were very nice. Cost was $50/hr but was well worth it. The owner Chris came by towards the end and was very nice to talk to as well. Highly recommend it if you are staying anywhere near Redmond.

We've been horseback riding before, but this experience far exceeded the rest. We had no problem making a last minute reservation for 4 people. My little kids (ages 6, 7, and 10) were very comfortable with the horses after a little coaching by the stable staff. Miss Debra and Dylan did a great job on the 1-hr. ride. Thanks Ikiutan for a great vacation experience this summer that we are still talking about to this day, and I'm sure for many years to come!

I am visiting my girlfriend at eagle crest in Redmond or. Wonderful place lots to do. Was excited to find out they had stables. Went on my first ride in 40 years. Was a blast. Casey and Lauren were fantastic pairing up each person with the right horse. I had Clancy a part mustang rescue horse He was the best. Stables etc were clean and nice. All the horses looked well taken care of. I will be back. Loved it thanks Casey and Lauren for a fantastic timeS PERACCA 5stars

We had a great hour long ride today. Our guide was very helpful and informative. Cayenne and Clancy were great!!

Our two year old and five year old daughter absolutely lived their time with their guides Lauren and KC!! The two made the experience fun, memorable, and so positive! It would not have been the same without these two staff members. The horses seemed loved and very gentle. They went above and beyond to make our girls happy. Highly highly recommended!

Great place to take the family. Kudos to our guides, Malia and Deborah. They were knowledgable and friendly. We enjoyed the pace of the trail and well behaved horses. Would recommend to families with children.

Although everyone enjoyed this outing, it could have been alot more fun if we had a guide that was more personable. We didn't even get a thank you when we gave her a cash tip! The horses loved their carrot treats we brought them. Probably would not spend the time and money to do this again.

It was my first horseback ride at Eagle Crest and me and my friends had a great time. We booked a 2 hour ride in the morning. Paul was our guide and he is very personable, young man with lots of horse sense. The horses were very friendly and good trained. I would recommend these rides to anybody, beginner or experienced riders. The view towards Smith Rock and the Cascades is breath taking and it was a very relaxing, enjoyable ride. Thanks guy, anytime again.

We have been visiting Eagle Crest for family vacations for years and have been waiting for an experience like the one we had at the Eagle Crest Equestrian Center! After growing up riding and spending time at other resorts that offer trail rides, I know whats involved in being a successful guide. Chris and his team do an amazing job of striking the perfect balance between safety, timeliness, adventure, and respect for the animals. My four kids always felt welcome, engaged, and inspired by Chris and his team! The guides are personable and the rides are educational -- we always learn a lot about the animals and even get to spend time petting them after. The guides are dedicated to making the experience one of bonding for our family as well! Each time we visit Eagle Crest my kids beg to go to the stables because they have such amazing memories of our rides.Whether you're an owner at Eagle Crest or just visiting for vacation, the stables create memories that last a lifetime. We are so grateful for our experiences at the Eagle Crest Equestrian Center -- the memories are part of the fabric of our family and we plan to be back year after year!I see that one reviewer posted that they were treated like family - we felt the very same way!!!Laura
