    走上去來回花了1個小時至少。瀑布四季有不同的景色,gift shop可以買到四季的照片。感覺春天會漂亮點。在瀑布下面水迎面而來的感覺很好。最頂端的觀景台可以看到遠處很漂亮的景色。

One of the most beautiful places on earth. Magical, green place, easy hike, and great tourist shop for remembering a amazing place.

These falls were beautiful and spectacular, and definitely worth visiting as they are so iconic. However, there are many more beautiful and spectacular falls in the area, and each has something unique to offer. We did the short hike up to the bridge, which was amazing to stand on, just like in all the pictures! At that time of year the mist from the falls was quite strong, so I was only able to use my waterproof camera. It's quite developed here with a restaurant and gift shop, plus there was a coffee cart just serving hot drinks and snacks. This was definitely the busiest waterfall on the highway, and the parking area was relatively crowded even on a week day in winter. I can only imagine how crowded it must be on a weekend in summer!

Multnomah Falls needs to be on the Top 10 "To See" list of anyone coming to the Pacific Northwest and probably one of the Top 3 things to do if just visiting the Portland area. Like Snoqualmie Falls near Seattle it's easily accessible (which actually is a bit of a problem at peak times) and never runs out of water. Our most recent visit in March 2015 came while an unusually warm and dry winter was leaving its mark on the region. The nice thing was not having to deal with snow or rain but I'm sure that'll come back and bite us all later. On this particular Sunday the backup for the parking lot stretched out onto the fast lane of the freeway, a potentially dangerous issue. However, [most] people were behaving in a civil way in the parking lot which meant the line was moving. After entering the property you come up to the gift shop/restaurant at the trail head. The walk to the overpass is about 0.2 miles up a pretty narrow, wet, paved trail. Exercise caution and try not to attempt the climb in high heels. There are many spots where great photos can be taken (this is a great place to play with shutter speeds and ISO settings) but keep in mind there's a lot of mist the higher up you get so protect your camera accordingly. One enterprising romantic proposed to his future bride while at the base of the climb (in front of lots of friends and supportive onlookers). Just a hint, guys... (she said yes)For best pictures (and smaller crowds) it really might pay to visit around sunrise and sunset, especially in the summer when more sunlight hits the falls.Don't leave the area without checking this destination out!

I moved to Oregon the beginning of Feb 2015 and one of the first hikes everyone recommended was Multnomah Falls. It is rated a moderate hike and is 5.4 miles around. If that puts you off a bit - note that you get to see a multitude of different falls as you traverse the trail. The first and last mile are paved. There are loads of switchbacks - and plenty of people resting at each corner so you won't feel alone. The views are breathtaking. I took my 70+ year old mother with me and she made the entire trek. It did take us 5 hours to complete. Be sure you are layered and take some energy food and water with you and make sure to gauge your time for the full 5.4 miles. If you have a hiking stick - it would also be helpful.

Parking is small, so get there early or circle around looking for a spot. We noticed that the parking lot between I84 was closed/full, so we had to drive up to the next exit and circle back. It was the best accident ever. It was extremely scenic and awesome detour. Once we parked we were on our way to the bridge. We didnt have much time to do the full hike, but the small hike to the bridge was good enough for me to get some awesome views of the falls.

This is one of the most spectacular waterfalls I've ever visited. I rank it way up there with Victoria Falls!......Okay, maybe that is a bit of a stretch, but really, it is absolutely worth visiting.

We only hiked half way up. Next time we are going to the top. This is a must see must enjoy! Very beautiful and majestic!

Well, the Falls are beautiful any time of year. The sparkle of frost in the air this morning made it seem so dreamy. But, it is a great hike up the trails and site to see in the Spring and Summer so start planning now. There are several waterfalls in the area to choose from and a great park nearby to relax and recharge. The Columbia Gorge has fantastic views and this is only a part of the beauty and charm everyone should see. The drive from Bridal Vail on the old road is best. A bit narrow in places, but worth the extra time.

This was very a very beautiful hike. There are a series of falls along the gorge ending with Mutnomah. Multnomah it self is a short hike to the top of the falls but it is a very steep hike. Both my 3 and 6 year old made it though. It was over corwded for the 1st day of March. Couldn't imagine how bad it is in the summer. IF possible it is worth parking one set of falls up and walking the .25 miles. There are some little snack shaks at the base of the falls. The restraunt is not for the average hiker but a clean and properly dressed adults. still amazing and beautiful.

I have been here before, but love coming back to see this waterfall. It is one of the most beautiful places. Hope to make it back in the summer.

The views from the top of the Waterfall is amazing and breath taking. It is about a 2.5 mile hike and your shoes will get dirty. Make sure your camera is charged too because you WILL be taking a ton of pictures!

The scenic views of the woods, falls and the Columbia River are absolutely heaven! We enjoyed hiking through the trails. It's easy to follow, and you can't get lost. The Multnomah Falls are a site to see from the base, along the hike, and at our destination at the Falls (up close). The base has nice refreshments too.

This is the most popular stop along the Columbia River Highway, definitely take the ultra-scenic route here (as I mentioned in another review) as there are lots of beautiful falls and scenic overlooks along the way. Multnomah Falls is by far the largest and most impressive of all the falls!! It was stunning to see! There are 3 spots to see the falls from. The base, walk up to the bridge, and then from the very top. We didn't walk up to the very top seeing as we didn't have a lot of time and thought the views from the other 2 points were really amazing!

I love coming here. It is nice to take a hundred or two hundred pictures. Every few steps up, is a different world. Pity that for safety reasons one cannot go behind the falls anymore, the guilty boulder that caused it is still there are the bottom of the Falls for all to see.Take the main interstate, access is easily made from the centre of the highway parking lot with a bomb shelter style short tunnel under the highway. It is definitely worth visiting many times. There is a terrific gift shop with very decent prices, staff are good but the prices are really decent. Selection is very good too. If one goes to Portland and they only see this, it is totally worth it!
