We took our grandson to the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum today. He had a wonderful time. It is a museum for kids, but that doesn't mean that the adults will be bored. Some of the exhibits will have at least a little interest to adults, but the best part will be watching your children's or grandchildren's faces as they have fun. There are just so many different things to do which they would never have a chance to do anyplace else (that I know of). It's about a half hour off of I-40, and it is worth the detour. We drove there from Oklahoma City, and it was a pleasant ride. I wasn't crazy about the cafe. Service was slow, and food was mediocre. Everything else was top notch, something you would expect to see in a major city.

We visited this museum yesterday. The weather was beautiful so we were able to take advantage of the wonderful outdoor space. The quantity of exhibits is perfect to keep a 3 year old entertained for hours. The museum was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The snack bar is decent; the prices reflect the low quality of the food. Our only complaint: several of the exhibits were not working, such as the running/exercise video game and the nail table. If the exhibits aren't working, they should be taken off the floor. Overall, this is a great museum and we will return in the future.

Took my daughter and 4year old grandson and 18 mo granddaughter for MY birthday. I was given a sticker and bd wishes over loud speaker. Unique interactive displays kept kids so entertained. Train ride was at bit short. Really enjoyed this spot!

The girls have been to this museum three or four times, but this was my first time going. They absolutely loved so many of the hands-on exhibits. Their favorites were brushing the sand off the dinosaur bones and pushing the buttons in the cockpit of the airplane. They also enjoyed the mini-supermarket and the nursing exhibit on the top floor. There were so many activities for them to do that they had a hard time staying at any one thing for very long. I enjoyed playing with the bubbles with them and the perpetual motion machine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for about 2 1/2 hours and did most of the indoor activities. There were a few other kids there, but since we went on a school day, not many. That being said, there were a couple of sections currently under construction that we were not able to visit. It was a little cold and the train is an added expense (though a small one), so we didn't try those either. All in all, it was a fun afternoon and one of the girls' favorite places to visit.

This is an absolute MUST GO for families with children (ages 1 - 12)! The museum is all hands on and interactive. Children are encouraged to touch, try, climb, experiment and experience. Just a view areas of interest are an aircraft cockpit, ambulance, fire truck, energy, grocery shopping, drawing, dinosaurs, building, television broadcasting, science experiments and environment. Our grandchildren are 18 months and almost 3 and they loved it. There were four adults with them and we loved it just as much. The museum is approximately one hour east of Oklahoma City but WELL WORTH the drive and easy to find.

I was surprised that this museum was as interesting for my grandkids as it was (and me too). There is plenty for younger kids to do. I would say 2-11 years. It's all hands-on and has a train and a maze. Little kids need to be accompanied on the maze. It can be scary if they start out alone. Parents can see them from a lookout above the maze. You might not want to make this a day trip to Seminole, but if you're on your way to another destination, it might be worth your time.

My son is 3.5. He loved this place. Everything is hands on. You can pack a lunch and there are tables inside and out to eat at. There is an outdoor maze, playground and train ride in addition to all the indoor activities. After 3 hours our son was still not ready to leave. We will definitely return.

This is an awesome place to take children. Me and my best friend took my son and her niece for my son's fourth birthday. They had a wonderful time and there was so much neat stuff there. My friend and I had fun too! The only negative is we figured being a children's place, the staff would be friendly and good with kids. They are not friendly at all. Almost unapproachable. They start shutting things down thirty minutes before closing too, which is ridiculous. There was one young man in a tyedye shirt and he was particularly rude with one child. He better be glad it was not with my child! I think it's a great place overall but they need much better and friendlier staff!!!

The museum was a fun place for the grandkids (ages 3-10) They all found lots of fun activities. But as other reviews noted, some exhibits were missing items, or parts not working. The staff had a challenge keeping all the exhibits together and store re-stocked. The most disappointing was the train ride ---$1.50 per person for a 1 1/2 minute ride!!!Also, the eating experience was not enjoyable - VERY expensive and my $3.50 pizza sticks (?) were 2 strips of underbaked dough with some cheese on them (no sauce)! The kids thought they were awful too. The burgers seemed to be the best thing on the menu. Next time we go we will take lunch with us.

My grandson who is 6 years old loved this place. There were so many things to do. He especially liked changing tires in the automotive exhibit and the store exhibit. The train and the maze made it even more interesting. The exhibits included learning as well as fun.

Not worth the hour drive! The staff are rude and the place is filthy and outdated! Also not worth the price of admission!!

Jasmine Moran Children's Museum let's kids try out all kinds of careers. They can sit in a real cockpit of a real plane and be the pilot, or be the judge in a court with kid-oriented ethical questions posed on video that the kid jury can vote yes or no upon. They can change tires of a car, or steer a Model T, or be an archeologist and discover a dinosaur, or run a grocery store, or engineer a new route or be a doctor, nurse, or therapist, and that's just the beginning, as other reviews will reveal There's a snack and lunch place, too, and usually no large crowds to contend with. Adults who bring the kids will want to try a few things out themselves and will enjoy watching the children play. Great way to keep kids learning and happy while vacationing in central OK.

The most important thing is that the kids had a blast there. But for the price of admission I was really disappointed in all of things that did not work at all or were not stocked. I hope they step up and hire some folks to take care of the issues. Lots of activities to choose from.

We took our grandchildren there numerous times when they came to Shawnee for a visit. We started when they were about ages 3 & 5 and they loved it. They continued to enjoy it until the youngest turned 9. Grocery shopping, working with water colors, and the water station were among their favorite things to do. When the train opened, it was equally enjoyable for them. I highly recommend this attraction.

This is a lovely museum. I have been taking my son there since he was born four years ago. It never seems too crowded, there are lots of things to keep his interest from climbing in a plane, ambulance, fire truck, boat, playing in the sand and the water, a small cave, the giant lite-brite (my favorite!), a child size grocery store, play medical center, auto center, playground equipment and much more. We especially love the little train ride that we can all ride together throughout the exterior of the museum. Older children might not enjoy as much. The trip is well worth it and I highly recommend eating at Bosco Joes when in town (there's not much else to choose from and its great BBQ!)
