Just saying - yes in fact it´s "The Roller Coaster Capital of the World"! There are so many coasters and rides. You will have fun.

It was my first experience of this kind. My first roller coaster experience. If you love the adrenaline and want to experience it this is one of the places you must visit. Advice: pick a day with good weather and buy the expensive tickets( I think they're called the VIP pack), those will save a lot of time for you by not standing in line so much. Trust me it's a profitable investment.

As the title states, some the best roller coasters in the world. I end up taking the trip at least three times a year with my two boys. Not only do they have the high thrill seeking rides such as Gate keeper, Top Thrill Dragster and my personal fav Millennium Force they also have many rides for younger children (my boys are 10 and 7) in which there are many rides for them as well. If you you end up going it really pays off to plan ahead, going during the week instead of the weekend is all ways better since it gets really crowded on weekends, wait times can get really insane on weekends. On that note they have a fast line ticket which gets you to a special line which really speeds up your time waiting in lines, these tickets are double the price over normal admission but if you can afford that it is well worth it. The only down side for me at this park is the food, it is over priced and not very good, when I go I all ways eat off park there is a TG Firidays by the hotels and also a Famous Daves in the area.

Cedar Point is a a coastal amusement park with perhaps the highest concentration of coasters in the world. New this year is GateKeeper, the fastest, tallest and longest wing roller-coaster in the world. Top Speed Dragster, despite being a decade old, is runner-up for the world's tallest and fastest steel coaster. Lines were super-long for both on a recent weekend visit, but our Fast Lane Plus wristband cut the wait to 30-45 minutes. Getting in more rides runs as steep as some of the coasters, roughly doubling the single-day adult admission price of $55, and the "Plus" pass adds the aforementioned two rides for another $20. The patient can easily survive without the added expense, and despite Cedar Point's wild reputation, there's plenty to do for those who prefer easy over queasy.

Grew up in northern Ohio and Cedar Point was a must do event every summer! I've watched it grow and become very popular, but through it all, it has always been my favorite park. It is well designed, clean, and even the food is good. You must buy the Salt Water Taffy and try your fries with malt vinegar.

My son and I visited. The marquee rides were clearly designed by 8 year-old boys. They are extreme, in the best way, pure adrenaline rush.Wait times were short on our visit. We were there in August and generally did not have to wait more than 2 cycles to get onto a ride, except for a couple of very popular ones. Staff were generally friendly and accommodating, with the occasional bossy grump for variety. Parking and park entry were smooth and efficient. I mention this because, for instance at Disney, it can easily be 2 1/2 hours from when you drive past the gate to when you buckle in for your first ride. At this park, it was under 20 minutes. Unless you opt to pay the premium to stay right in the park, nearby hotels are plentiful and reasonably priced. Great rides, great staff, well-run park, and competitively priced. Highly recommended.

Cedar Point is our favorite amusement park. It has a LOT of rides and activities for all ages. What I don't like are the LONG limes during summer months - Especially when the sun is beating down on you. The food is pricey too, but that's normal for any amusement park.

Cedar Point is, quite simply, a thrill seekers paradise. Chock full of some of the tallest and fastest coasters on the planet, this little peninsula packs a mighty fun punch. It's no theming wonderland like Universal or Disney, but it doesn't need to be. The rides speak for themselves and will leave you wanting more. Taller. Faster. Absolutely unbeatable. Must visit. For an amazing mini-break stay a couple nights on the peninsula. You get the beach and the park to play.
