I love Schiller Park. Its a great spot for a family picnic. There are huge trees for shade, a pond with a bridge to walk over, tennis courts and a playground for the kids. Many evenings in the summer can be filled with the various events on the stage there. I would recommend to everyone. Its also a great park to walk in. Located in Historic German Village. A must see for visitors.

This is the most awesome thing to do, on the cheap in columbus in the summer. First off get there a little early, and just look at the homes surrounding the park, gorgeous! Make sure you pack a lumch, then go there on sunday, usually around 7:30, they usually do a shakespeare comedy, and it is always great. Donations only, no cost for the event, but do donate, this is professional quality, and its wonderful. Plus you get to do some people watching and see just about every walk of life from the young to old, the rich to the poor. The park itself is very nice, and has an outstanding water feature near the ampitheater.

A beautifull park in the middle of the German Village, plenty of trees and space and wildlife. Clean and well kept.

I enjoyed this park. It is in the middle of the city but it is still very peaceful. I take a book to read and got lost in the peace. Many kids and adults visit here. Dogs can enjoy a nice walk also.

Love going down in the summer for free Shakespeare in the Park plays. Beautiful old growth trees amid some of the oldest homes in Columbus.

It's an inner city park where young children can learn to fish. What could be better than that in today's world?

This is a must see park in the spring and summer. Bring the kids, they will love it. The plants and trees are beautiful. I make a yearly trek to it whenever I'm in town.

This park is a very nice setting in German Village. It has a stage where outdoor productions are offered, areas for kids and family and some very beautiful landscaping.

This park is a beautiful centerpiece to a charming neighborhood. The park was active during our visit with families and dog walkers. There was a nicely paved walking trail along the perimeter of the park.

During our week in German Village we walked down to and around Schiller Park every day. We enjoyed seeing the people with their dogs, or their kids frolicking on the pretty lawns, and looking at the flowers and the fountains. The houses surrounding the park were amazing, and lots of fun to look at.

It's in the south end of German Village... an oasis in an oasis. My wife did several sketches of Schiller and the Girl with the umbrella... as I watched families with picnics, dogs chasing balls and solos just enjoying the outdoors. It was a quick walk from the GV Guest House. It was hard to believe that you were so close to downtown Columbus.

Great place to walk with children or animals. Toys for children to play on...Sometimes they have plays and concerts in the park. Trees for shade and the recreation center for shelter. What else does one need!
