This is a clean, large beach with so much going for it. Boardwalks down to a pristine, huge beach area, large playground with lots of stuff for the kids to do, covered pavilion, excellent outdoor restaurant called Pats Lakeside Grill or Pats Grill. She has a large selection of food items. They also carry a large selection of Velvet Ice cream, handcut fries. Really good food, very reasonably priced. There are also large bluffs so you can sit on the bluff and read or watch the lake. Tennis courts, great outdoor wedding spot. You can reserve picnic tables, they have grills.

We loved spending the day at Conneaut beach. We have visited on several occasions and it is never crowded, which makes it impossible not to relax and enjoy the spectacular view. The beach itself is very clean, completely free of debris. Also the water is very clean & clear. If you get hungry there is a concession stand & public restrooms as well. We could easily spend an entire weekend or even a week here!

D-Day Conneaut, Ohio – August 16-17, 2013 – by Cynthia A. Sandor This was the first time I participated in such a large Living Historical WW2 event - D-Day, in Conneaut, Ohio, overlooking the beautiful bluffs and beaches of Lake Erie. I portrayed Fraulein Dieter, troop leader of Landjahr Lager based upon my book “Through Innocent Eyes – The Chosen Girls of the Hitler Youth.” Over 20,000 spectators came to watch over 1000 re-enactors commemorate the 69th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy..........To read more click on this link: http://cynthiasandor.blogspot.com/2013/08/d-day-conneaut-ohio-book-signing-event.htmlAuthor Book Signing Information for August 2014: https://www.facebook.com/events/1456922871250631/?ref=22

My husband brought me to his hometown of Conneaut, OH 2 years ago. This was my first time to Ohio and I fell in love. This was one of my favorite spots to come and enjoy what this small town had to offer. We come here every year.

Beautiful park on the edge of Lake Erie. Large pavilions for parties. Beautiful setting with views if the lake. Nice footbridge. The ducks & geese even have little ramps to get themselves out of the pond! Very cute!

I grew up in Conneaut and Township park was the site of town, school, and family functions. It's very large with beautiful intimate picnic spots with grills readily at hand. There are also two large pavilions for larger groups. I rented the upper pavilion for my sons graduation party. There is also a car show once a week during the summer. The beach is huge and has boardwalk areas for easy access for the disabled to go on the beach. The bluff is a beautiful lookout area for seeing the lake. It is also the sight of an incredible D-Day reenactment every august that draws thousands. There is a snack stand that sells sandwiches, ice cream, pop, and my favorite pizza in the world, Pat's Pizza! It's a really beautiful park and with the large playground area, plenty to keep young and old busy. The small stone bridges and stream running through gives it added beauty. A great place to go for a day of family fun, which we did many times.

We have been here many times over the years. Last year we reserved part of the pavillion (they will let you reserve for 80) so we shared the large pavillion with two other family groups. For FREE. They do not care if you are an Ohio resident or not! Clean bathrooms close to the pavillion that is on the beach, with good parking, shaded playground, and electric for those crockpots! Call 440-593-7430 to reserve Oh! The beach is great also!!!

This park has a huge beach, and kids play ground. It is a wonderful place to bring the family and play in the sand and water. Good place for sled riding. In the morning it is a good place to see Bald Eagles. The DDAY event in August features nearly 1,000 re-inactors that create the Normandy invasion. Planes, landing craft, tanks, machine guns, explosions on the beach all make it seem real. A must place to visit.

Picnic area, Place for the kids to play on the jungle gym. They also have food and ice cream there at the cover area where you can eat. Beach is also wonderful, you can walk on the board walk in the sand. Great place on Thursday for old cars to come to. Best place around in the summer to go to.

This is a beautiful beach and park. The bluff overlookes the beachh and harbor area. The view is amazing both on sunny days and those days when the wind is whipping up and the waves are crashing along the breakwall. Something for everyone besides swimming, tennis courts, soccer field, basketball, volleyball, bocce ball area and a neat playground. The walking path is made for beginner to experience walkers. The park is always kept clean and manicured.

We took my elderly parents to the Conneaut Township Park and they loved it! We say on the benches "at the top" of the Conneaut Township Park overlooking the beach and beautiful lake drinking coffee! Next, we drove down thru the Park and went to the large boat dock area. We, also, got out there and sat on the benches right beside the water's edge. It was gorgeous! The view from both points of the lake and lighthouse is so pretty! Conneaut's Township Park is a great place to visit!

Huge beach area, clean park with covered and open picnic grounds. Sorry to have missed the "D-Day Reinactment" this year -- heard it was even bigger that last year.
