Visited this store on a trip to Vermont and fell in love with its friendly staff, beautiful wooden floors and shelving, freshly brewed hot coffee, range of homemade cakes, comfy seats and newspapers that invite you to stay that little bit longer and, most fabulously, our introduction to Growlers. Growlers are large demi-john style bottles that take for a deposit ($3) and you fill (and re-fill, and re-fill...) with on-tap beer - always a choice of two locally brewed artisan beers - for around $10. A total bargain and a brilliant, environmentally friendly and economical way to sample a range of local produce.

After a long journey to Vermont from Toronto, we were thrilled to find the Underhill Country Store. It is the perfect place to find locally made products, such as honey and chocolate. We enjoyed delicious sandwiches on their front porch and found the service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended!
